    [MOC] Boo

As a child playing Mario games, I hated this little guy. He couldn't be killed! It was just all "run for your life". I mean, sure, you could turn around and stare him to a standstill, but that wouldn't get you anywhere, and then another one might sneak up from behind! The 3D version of him is a bit more cute though, and in Super Mario 64 he actually could be killed. Oh the satisfaction! Nowadays I find him quite adorable. He just wants to play, doesn't he? Thank you I think they are happier in the company of other ghosts, but I might build a Goomba and/or Bob-omb at one stage too, you never know Thanks
  3. After harsh battles, the polar warriors will retreat to this remote spa that offers a steamy sauna and a hot bath. Located near the coast it also offers the opportunity to have a cool swim after the sauna. The spa facility is guarded by elite polar warrior guards to make sure no Elken tribe warriors disturb this peaceful place. Urtican spa by Cecilie Fritzvold, on Flickr He may be a fearsome warrior, but wrapped in his towel, he's just a normal polar bear having a good time Going for a steam bath by Cecilie Fritzvold, on Flickr Banzai!! Cool me down! by Cecilie Fritzvold, on Flickr The two elite guards, the siblings Erik Ursuson and Hildr Ursusdottir (and yes, sometimes they get to have a break and enjoy the spa as well ) Built for the Blitzzard contest. I had a lot of fun creating my own spin on the stronghold category. I wanted my polar bears to have something else to think about than war I just love these polar bears so much

Thank you I actually haven't seen a single hut in this style in Norway, but that doesn't mean they don't exist here . I actually searched for pictures of Finnish saunas to find inspiration for it

    Billund '16 trading post

Boat hulls, really? I seem to remember them being handed out at Skærbæk for some cheap price a few years ago, but I don't think I picked any up as I wasn't interested in them...

    [MOC] Uzumaki Naruto

Naruto was the first anime I ever watched, and opened the world of manga and anime to me. I built this as a Christmas gift for my loving husband, who was the one who introduced me to Naruto when we first met. This was my first time building a human character, and it was certainly a very tough challenge, especially making him a fully poseable figure, while still making him look as accurate as possible to the source material. Not to mention doing it without my husband finding out! Uzumaki Naruto by Cecilie Fritzvold, on Flickr

Thank you No, it's not a custom, it's this: http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=98338#T=C His feet are maybe a bit small, but I think they still work well. Thanks! Indeed.

    [MOC] Celestial Ice Scout

Specialized for orbiting frozen worlds, the Celestial Ice Scout collects data and pictures, searching for areas rich in resources needed for setting up a new base. Celestial Ice Scout by Cecilie Fritzvold, on Flickr My attempt at a Vic Viper (a little late for Novvember, I know, but it just took me too long to get it the way I wanted it). I chose to use the Ice Planet theme for my viper as it's a favourite of mine from my childhood, and a fun color scheme to work with. Although quite challenging at times! This started with an idea for the wings, but then as I made the body, I suddenly found out I hadn't thought of how to connect the wings, so I spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to do that! Hope you like it

Thank you everyone for the nice comments, I'm so happy that you like it Haha, yeah, this I can do! Red 2x4s? No thanks Hey, I know very well what a Yoshi is. But those red 2x4s bricks can go somewhere else The arms are attached with a rubber band through one of these http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=4081b#T=C
  21. This is my final entry to the Imperium der Steine MOC Olympics. The theme of the round was "Episode VII". Seeing as the movie isn't exactly out yet, there isn't all that much available material. After watching the trailers over and over again a few times, I quickly realized there wasn't really anything interesting that hadn't been done by others already, and I didn't want to just rehash something someone else had built. The idea came to use the LEGO Star Wars games from TT as inspiration to build my own imagining of a new yet announced game based on Episode VII, allowing me to build multiple scenes from the trailer, at a smaller scale. For the hub world I chose to use the interior of the Millenium Falcon an inspiration (it's obviously not an exact representation, but adjusted to fit the needs of my hub). The 6th world is not yet unlocked, there has to be some excitement left since the movie isn't out yet . I also built some micro ships that are displayed in the hub world to represent minikits unlocked by the player. There are only 4 of them, as the player has obviously not yet completed level 5, or level 6 would be unlocked . My opponent in the final is Burglarhobbit on flickr and this is his entry: The hub The hub - LEGO Star Wars Episode VII - The game by Cecilie Fritzvold, on Flickr Corridor leading to the levels Corridor by Cecilie Fritzvold, on Flickr Level 1 Episode VII - AT-AT by Cecilie Fritzvold, on Flickr Level 2 Episode VII - TIE hangar by Cecilie Fritzvold, on Flickr Level 3 Episode VII - scrapyard by Cecilie Fritzvold, on Flickr Level 4 Episode VII - X-Wings by Cecilie Fritzvold, on Flickr Level 5 Episode VII - Kylo Ren by Cecilie Fritzvold, on Flickr And the overview shot LEGO Star Wars Episode VII - The game by Cecilie Fritzvold, on Flickr I also took a close-up of my micro X-wing, which you can see here:

[MOC] LEGO Star Wars Episode VII - The Game

Thank you everyone for all the nice words There's actually quite a lot of parts in there Thanks! It's only 3 parts, pretty happy with that Ah yes, the question mark is totally my proudest moment Thank you! I never thought I would get this far in a SW contest, or even win! I always try to outdo myself The Falcon flying into the broken Star Destroyer was on my ideas list, but I scrapped it in favour of the other two desert scenes. Not sure if I'll continue with any of these. As for the actual figures, they became available two days before the contest deadline, so I wasn't going to rush out to buy all the sets just to get those figs.
