I really like to build, and run some of the trains to make the scenery more dynamic, and just watch it, like a piece of art. -
Right. I most probably try to find a fire brigade so that the DO isnt going to stand alone. Or I moc something up. We'll see.

Heres a tip for everyone struggling with the price of the bley turntables in the cafe corner: you can use a 2x2 tile with center stud instead for 3 of the 4.

If the prizes are higher in Australia due to shipping and less residents, I'm starting to wonder what the DO will cost there. At least lots and lots of VIP points will be collected then. -

Yes, you can. I even collected VIP points in a US store while living in Europe. I was on holiday in the US at the time. -

Thats really good indeed, and again breaks the pattern of a big square building. Only downside is that it looks to be not separatable, like petshop. I do like the variation a lot. -

Sounds like at least half of it can be used as a replacement market street -
I tried once to make a modern version of 7740 in LDD, but dark red and tan just doesn't give it that 7740 feeling. Dark red an yellow would work though. Also, dark red and tan make the coaches look very similar to the enerald night coaches.

I ordered the ones from the pet shop, but I do see they're out of stock. Just check regularly, I ordered them a couple of weeks ago.

Actually, the price wasn't too crazy. I paid around 20 euros for 36 dark red roof tiles at BnP

I made some alterations to the pattern. I do like the concept a lot. I also need to still find some 1x1 plates in trans-clear, I apparently had only a few, so there's one where I used a trans-yellow plate -
I have - a 720 (converted to PF) - 7760 shunter (converted to PF) - 7939 Freight - 7938 Passenger - Horizon Express (double) - BNSF (converted to PF) - MOC SD70M - MOC NS Sprinter - shorter version of the loc in 3677 These are all PF based, so I lack one PF channel to get them all running at the same time.

Nice train. With that length, getting through a half circle is going to be very challenging or even impossible.

Very nice, I'm going to try this on my HE as well. It breaks the repetition nicely with a double HE. -
Sure it is. I've spend 100 euro so far, and I expect to spend another 150. This doesn't mean that I have all original parts, but since thats half of the cost, I don't mind.

Their new system is broken. It shows some stuff available that they dont have and never will get. I'm going for modern doors that are 6 tall.

I got hooked as well. I just started bricklinking the CC. Just received 36 dark red slopes from bricks n pieces, as well as that dark blue arch. Im about halfway now. I did substitute some parts for modern versions.

What's the difference? Most rumours start with pure speculation. -
Judging by the dimensions of the minifig, I'd say it's more likely to be a country with a lot of obese people. Furthermore, every second person is a cop, surely that must be a hint as well.

I am in doubt if I should start experimenting with cutting track. I want to have some modified switches, but I'm not interested in ruining those switches. How did you start? Did you practice on curves first?

I have bought 4 modulairs this year, so now I have all that are currently for sale including those that are about to retire (or not). I thought this would bring some piece of mind and that I could keep my wallet closed until the DA arrives. Unfortunately, some bricks are already arriving through bricklink and BnP that will result in a Cafe Corner eventually. So: Piece of mind: yes, wallet closed: no -
