  1. Since they all come with 9v tracks, I find it hard to believe that some would come with bluish grey
  2. I did not add metal track, just plastic, but still haven't seen anything
  3. I considered bricklinking The 10027 last year, but I found a used one online for about 150 euro. There were some pieces missing, so I had to spend some euros extra, but not much. Another expensive piece is the yellow hand truck, which is 15 euro. You can make the shed without it. My advise is to look out for a used set.
  4. Same for me. If they're around for some more time, I'll probably pick up those trains. If not, too bad. I dont consider them collectors items I need to have.
  5. That's strange. On the Dutch lego S@H site, both the 60051 and 60052 are sold out. I expect these sets to last for several more years.
  6. I'm probably skipping the next double VIP Slot. Over the last year, I caught up with all available modulars, and I have nothing in particular on my list right now. If theres a new creator train coming out, that might change.
  7. If there's anything dying with respect to Lego, it must be my wallet
  8. I decided to wait with a green grocer until that 1x2 brick with groove is rereleased In sandgreen. If not, then I'll do without a green grocer.
  9. Incredible. Truly a work of art.
  10. I like the previous tram better.
  11. JopieK hasn't logged in to Eurobricks since January 8th. He's the owner of that site. Strange...
  12. I tried clearing the cookies, but I still get the same buggy site (on chrome). I'm also regularly sent to the US site while I try to browse the Dutch site. Very annoying.
  13. I used modern 4x6 doors, and choose a grey doorframe instead of the grey door. Looks pretty good. That doorframe is new since last year.
  14. The cheapest option to get these is to watch BnP for availability. Use the pet shop to get to the roof parts, and the winter village to get the blue arch. Also very pricey is the 2x10 brown brick. I substituted that by a 2x4 and a 2x6
  15. I bought the same superpack 2 years ago. It was actually cheaper than the train alone. I think I paid 143 Euro for it, which I consider a really good price. It was that pack that brought me back into trains.
  16. My set arrived today. I just build the first floor. I think the details are amazing.
  17. It should be listed in your order overview if you log in to the lego website. (go to shop.lego.com, then press order status at the top)
  18. It was actually in Oberhausen. Last year I bought the Parisian Restaurant there on January 2nd.
  19. It crashed right after I placed my order. I did get a confirmation email, but I'm not able to look at the status anymore.
  20. I went to my "local" store today, which is in Germany while I live in the Netherlands. I got there at 12:00, and they were all sold out. Not funny. I did order one from the webshop now, but it cost me 10 euros more, plus I don't have it this weekend. Bummer. Can't they do logistics in those Lego shops?
  21. Nice. Have you discovered bricklink yet? It can help you get the last pieces.
  22. I guess 2014 is the level they raised the prices.
  23. Thanks for the review. I do look forward to the set (just a couple of days to go). I don't have the same complaints as others have about the size of the set and all, because I like the life it brings to the set. What I do regret is that they put the instructions in one booklet. I always enjoyed building the sets with my children in parallel (distributing the floors to build), which is now slightly more difficult. Now we'll have to bring out the tablets to get that done.
  24. I'm actually very satisfied with the PF system. The fact that you can easily control multiple trains from different controllers is a big advantage. All this DCC stuff is quite difficult to set up and not out of the box at all.
