Is there a way to find out which sets a part is in?
morcianknight posted a topic in General LEGO Discussion
I have a 16 x 6 grey plate that was in a box with some LSW sets. It was in a bag with 7257 Ultimate Lightsaber Duel so I thought it was that, as it was a completed model but in pieces, the colours were similar and I hadn't looked at it for a while. Now I have it spare and I'm not sure which set it's come from. Does BrickLink or anywhere else have an option that lets you see which sets you can get a piece in? I need a list of all the sets that have 16 x 6 grey plates in them and then I can see which of those I own to match it up. -

Ah cheers! Using that it can only be from The Grand Tournament but it doesn't look "Dark Bluish Grey" to me. It's the only set with a greyish piece from that page that I own, so it must be that one. -
LEGO's 80th Anniversary... of what?

Am I the only who finds Kjeld Kirk Kristiansen's scene at the end a bit creepy? It would be cool if they brought out a big collection of books of memoribilia from Lego's history. Stuff like posters and brochures all printed together, or replicas of old items. I think there was something similar in the Legoland Windsor 10th Birthday book they made. Wish I went there that year, it looked so cool, like three pages of old Lego's history I think. -
LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors

Just seen that. Haven't collected Lego Star Wars since just before TCW came out. Did they change the minifigs from the coloured eyes to normal after 2008 or something? His hair isn't as orange as the original either. Edit: Oh, for some reason I thought that was a TCW set! So they changed the regular Obi-Wan's headpiece? -

What do you do with LEGO set boxes?
morcianknight replied to Robominer's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I keep most of them in a cupboard. I throw away the bigger ones though. -
Still nothing in the South West!

Cheers, I will give it a go. I have a feeling though that the mold may be so old that I'll have no luck at all.

It's really odd seeing the comic book minifigures inside the Nolan Batmobile. I was a bit disappointed it wasn't in TDKR.

I would really like a theme like this. Maybe Alpha Team 3? -
I have been sorting out my sets recently after I kind of abandoned the room I keep my LEGO in. I found that four instruction booklets for some of my Knights' Kingdom sets had been left on the floor, after a particularly crazy incident involving arachnophobia and the throwing of water over the corner of the room to flush them out! This has lead to some mold on the covers and on a few of the pages. I'm assuming it's mildew but I'm not sure. I have tried "dusting away the mildew with paper tissues" but this is not the sort of mold that will dust off. I'd really like to clean these up, as I have a box with all of my instructions and other LEGO papers in and want to put these with them. Any tips for removing it or should I just bin them? :/ Here is what it looks like, and one of the tissues I wiped it with: On the paper, the mold doesn't look that thick but the amount of "blueness" on the tissue was quite substantial!
