Tournament on castle Burg Stolzenstein
CptMugwash replied to tnickolaus's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
*drools* This is amazing and it's sooooo big I love it, the colours are vibrant, plenty of details, everything is great, excellent job It reminds of the movie 'A Knight's Tale' with all that jousting Look forward to Robin Hood's den, I can imagine a lot of treehouses, a big feast with plenty of kegs of ale and mead, room full of treasure (to give to the poor ofcourse but he hasn't gotten around to it ), could have some beehives for Friar Tuck to use the honey to make the mead and maybe Robin and his merry men ambush a carriage too -
This made me smile, very good moc, lots of detail, all it needs now is series 4 werewolf Good job
-
It's so beautiful. I wouldn't be surprised to see other mocers do something similar to this, this is to die for, all the detail is wonderfull, nice one on making it unique, it reminds me of LOTR, which isn't a bad thing. I like the 3 warriors too, good job on the female elf, I think lego should make a female one though with long straight hair and ears poking out. An marvelous moc indeed, well done

Nice billboards How do you go about resizing pictures to fit on lego? I'm guessing just using a measuring tape would work or is there a method of working out some kind of pixels to stud ratio thing?
-
I like the red mail van To turn a small car into a mini use 2x these, place the front one so there is gap at the front for the bonet and modify the rear to accomodate the rear windscreen, if that makes sense
-
Awesome, loving the power functions, the lights, the fan and the noise, hehe I like the creature too and the goo and broken glass NPU Good job on this one
-
Amazing, the tower has to be the centrepiece, I really like the roundness of it, it stands out from the rest of the moc. There's so much detail in this moc I can't name all the things I love about this but I really like those small conifers, simple but look good, better then lego's prefab ones. Well done on a fantastic moc

Oh wow, cool house, what parts did you use for those vines there? I like the little scenes taking place, although I'm not a big fan of any vampire things I'm a fan of this moc I also like how you left the back section clear for playability. The house certainly does look overgrown and the furnishings are lush, good job

Haha, cool little vig, I like the detail on the cabinet, I'd like to see how you've done the toilet. I too have a BF acoustic guitar and love it, I've got the violin aswell and I'm looking forward to the new electric guitar with the punk rocker from minifig series 4, which I plan on doing a music store moc with. Anyways back on track, are the transparent bricks suppose to be a mirror? Cool little moc and as the saying goes 'join the club' I've recently come out of my dark ages too. I look forward to seeing more from you.

That's really cool, you could use the Traveller's trolley with the corner pieces on which is probably the most functional option as it's for you and your kids, or for a more aestheticly pleasing and accurate one how about this. I just typed in 'lego trolley' on google and found it. Lovely super market, looking forward to some updates

I've yet to come to that decision as I don't have any companies to name but I do have ideas, eg, Flourie's Flora, Bob's building supplies, etc, those kind of names
-
Very nice update, it's all coming together For a name how about Umbra? meaning shadow, or something

Very cool indeed, the mech is super but that hangar is awesome Good job!
-
Very cool, a nice detailed moc with NPU I like the front cockpit, good job!

D2C Contest: 10234 Ignacia Village

Very nice, fits the theme very well and certainly has a more grown up feel and appeal to it. This will definately give others a run for their money It's a real shame lego doesn't do the Plant Leaves 6 x 5 in a brown colour, add the pink flowers and it would make a decent cherry blossom tree Good job! -
Very nice, you've certainly captured the spooky feeling, I agree with 'maydayartist about the dark backdrop and low lighting It reminds me of Tia Dalma's place in pirates of the carribean. If you could fit a big tree in there covered in vines that would be awesome, maybe with a hanging skeleton and an owl or bats. Good job!

Very nice, lots of detail, if the rest of the Moc is as detailed as this it will be uber awesome cheesecake With the characters there, the knight, wizard and elf it reminds me of D&D. So far so good, looking forward to seeing the progress.

Very nice LT, can't wait for the final layout, it seems empty without minifigures going about but I'm sure you'll be putting some in I like how all the buildings are the same height and same kind of style, a photo of the whole stretch from a minifig's point of view would be cool Good work

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 5 discussion
CptMugwash replied to eiker86's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Thanks for the clear pics I don't think I have a favourite in this series but I do like most of them if not all If I had to choose one I'd have to say the gladiator looks pretty damn awesome, the new gladius piece looks wicked I can't really put a finger on which figure will be the rarest, but if any it would probably be the gladiator because it's similar to the spartan and has good potential for army building with that new sword. -
Very good, I like the buildings and the action, it reminds me of red dead redemption. Good job
-
Awesome, I really like the cockpit and shape, good job
-
I try and make up as many minifigs as possible with all my parts, but no mismatch colours so no white hand yellow hand, black right arm red left arm etc
-
Very nice moc, loving the interior detail, keep up the good work

The depot looks great LT Keep up the good work
