  1. 31070 - Turbo Track Racer (Model A) - Theme: Creator .LXF file (doors open) - LDD 4.3.11 Notes: -.LXF file with the doors closed and spoiler pointed up; however the gears transferring from the spoiler to the door actuators have been removed and set to the side. If someone wants to figure out how to have them attached properly feel free to send me a fixed file~ -The 1x1 with hole at the base of the gearstick isn't completely mounted in the stud; it's either that or the stick itself won't mount into the hole in the stud. -The 25214 Design Shape W/ Tube, Crosshole don't have holes deep enough to allow full insertions of cross axles; in step 31/32 of the instructions, the 2M axles have been omitted (placed outside). -LDD doesn't allow inserting the gear wheel/shafts attaching the spoiler inside the bottom studs -The hubcaps seem to be just friction fitted since the cross axles the wheels mount on come flush to the outside of the rim; as such the hubcaps are floating and not connected. Phew, quite a build. I absolutely love the design of this set, if i didn't know any better i'd totally think it's a MOC. It has a couple alternates too but someone else can tackle those, especially the forklift which has a free-floating set of forks... just thinking about building it in LDD gives me creeps.
  2. 31072 – Extreme Engines (Model A) – Theme: Creator LDD 4.3.10 .LXF file 31072 – Extreme Engines (Model B) – Theme: Creator LDD 4.3.10 .LXF file 31072 – Extreme Engines (Model C) – Theme: Creator LDD 4.3.10 .LXF file Been a while since I've done this. The new Creator sets have some really slick vehicles~
  3. Anyone have a problem with crashing? As i mentioned earlier, trying to rotate cross axles crashes the program nearly invariably, and nobody else seemed to note it. It only seems to happen if the axle is going through 2 technic holes, though i'm not certain about it. Dunno if it's the specific LXF, but certainly happens with this one that i'm trying to complete for the official sets thread. Can't be the amount of parts, there's just 550 of them but the model's only half done :/ EDIT: Seems to be because some of the beams were misaligned so i guess clipping happened and LDD didn't like that... But i'm quite sure that wasn't a problem until after the update. *shrugs*
  4. The new update is crashing nearly every time i try to rotate cross axles... not a good thing when i'm trying to make a massive technic model with a whole load of gears >.<
  5. A lot of the new parts seem to be exclusive for the Extended mode, which is a minor annoyance; I prefer working in normal mode if possible Also not sure if it's because the LXF is from the last patch, but the program keeps crashing whenever i'm trying to rotate crossaxles...
  6. Updated the screenshot and LXF, apparently a few parts were missing and LDD removed a part because of an error, not sure if it was one of the ones i replaced but no errors anymore at least
  7. Yeah i kinda suspected that the bend would be too tight for LDD to accept it. Thanks a bunch, though~
  8. 42047 - Police Interceptor - Theme: Technic .LXF file LDD 4.3.8 Notes: -Missing stickers -Part 18948 not available in LDD, replaced with 32034 -Credit of the brick-built substitute for the pullback motor goes to marco9999 42046+42047 - Extreme Police Racer (Combination Model) - Theme: Technic .LXF file LDD 4.3.8 Notes: -Missing stickers -Part 18948 not available in LDD, replaced with 32034 -18651 connector peg/2M axles aren't available in LDD, replaced with 3M cross axles. -Credit of the brick-built substitute for the pullback motor goes to marco9999
  9. A nice little car, will probably do the accompanying Police Interceptor and the combination model (those still exist o_0) in a day or two~ 42046 - Getaway Racer - Theme: Technic .LXF file LDD 4.3 Notes: -Missing stickers -18651 connector peg/2M axles aren't available in LDD, replaced with 3M cross axles. -Brake lights are attached with half pins (and thus flipped around), LDD doesn't let you attach studs to those holes like you should -Credit of the brick-built substitute for the pullback motor goes to marco9999
  10. Just found this interesting set and decided to recreate it, along with the unique IR car chassis it has. It's not perfect as the wheels cannot be placed evenly but otherwise it should be good~ ------------------------------ 8183 – Track Turbo RC (A model) - Theme: Racers LDD 4.3.8 .LXF file Notes: No stickers The vehicle base/IR receiver has been substituted with a custom assembly A 1x4 plate had to be removed from the front to accomodate for the custom base 8183 – Track Turbo RC (B model) - Theme: Racers LDD 4.3.8 .LXF file Notes: No stickers The vehicle base/IR receiver has been substituted with a custom assembly A 1x4 plate had to be removed from the front to accomodate for the custom base 8183 – Track Turbo RC (C model) - Theme: Racers LDD 4.3.8 .LXF file Notes: No stickers The vehicle base/IR receiver has been substituted with a custom assembly A 1x4 plate had to be removed from the front to accomodate for the custom base 8184 – Twin X-treme RC (A model) – Theme: Racers LDD 4.3.8 .LXF file Notes: No stickers The vehicle base/IR receiver has been substituted with a custom assembly 8184 – Twin X-treme RC (B model) – Theme: Racers LDD 4.3.8 .LXF file Notes: No stickers The vehicle base/IR receiver has been substituted with a custom assembly 8184 – Twin X-treme RC (C model) – Theme: Racers LDD 4.3.8 .LXF file Notes: No stickers The vehicle base/IR receiver has been substituted with a custom assembly 8184 – Twin X-treme RC (D model) – Theme: Racers LDD 4.3.8 .LXF file Notes: No stickers 2x4 plate with holes omitted (LDD didn't let the chassis be fitted otherwise) The vehicle base/IR receiver has been substituted with a custom assembly
  11. Did a couple more that use Zonic Strike's pullback motor~ 8374 – Williams F1 Team Racer 1:27 - Theme: Racers LDD 4.3.8 .LXF file Notes: Missing/incorrect stickers and prints Pullback Motor 9 x 4 x 2 1/3 (Motor 7) replaced with a brick-built assembly -The 1x4 tiles on the sides of the car are supposed to attach with technic half-pins into the technic beams, but doing this won't let LDD place parts on top of them such as the wing pieces. The tiles are in their places but I left the unplacable pins to the side 8356 – Jungle Monster (A model – Jungle) - Theme: Racers LDD 4.3.8 .LXF file Notes: Missing/incorrect stickers and prints Pullback Motor 9 x 4 x 2 1/3 (Motor 7) replaced with a brick-built assembly -Hoses have been replaced with flex tubes, the flags that would've attached to the hoses have been left to the sides/floating. -There's nothing short enough but long enough to replace the shorter hoses, so 7M Flex tubes were used and positioned somewhat correctly These sets are pretty old so they use legacy grays and such, lemme know if any of them are wrong
  12. Once again doing a duplicate of a set that's missing it's pictures, original was by zinfinion. I don't approve of how many times this set makes you stack identical plates on eachother :T ---------- 7291 - Street Rebel (A model - Street Bike) - Theme: Creators LDD 4.3.8 .LXF file Notes: Rubber bands not attached 7291 - Street Rebel (B model - Chopper) - Theme: Creators LDD 4.3.8 .LXF file 7291 - Street Rebel (C model - Moped) - Theme: Creators LDD 4.3.8.LXF file Notes: LDD doesn't let the technic pin that connects the front fork into the chassis go all the way down, causing the headlight to be slightly higher. E: Hopefully images are of better size now ;)
  13. Saw an odd gap between 4894 and 4896... I can see why it wasn't done until now, but now it's filled! ---------- 4895 - Motion Power (A model - Missile Spider) - Theme: Creators LDD 4.3.8 .LXF file Notes: Rubber bands omitted Battery box 54950c01 replaced with 59510c01 which is otherwise identical but has a pin hole on the switch and 2x1 plate as the cable connector Electric wire 5306bc0361 replaced with plates, and grouped to make them stand out 47154c01 Electric Motor 9V and 46217c01 Technic Gearbox replaced with brick-built assemblies, originally done by OrbitSoldier that i slightly modified. LDD doesn't let the ”abdomen” attach as close to the model as it should; the two Cross Axle 3M with Knobs have been replaced with 5M axles to allow attaching 4895 - Motion Power (B model - Sports Car) - Theme: Creators LDD 4.3.8 .LXF file Notes: Battery box 54950c01 replaced with 59510c01 Electric wire 5306bc0361 replaced with plates, and grouped to make them stand out 47154c01 Electric Motor 9V and 46217c01 Technic Gearbox replaced with brick-built assemblies The bumpers slide back and forth, which would make the car go either forward or backwards, and the system works in the model, but the different battery box didn't allow for the attachment to be made between the bumpers and the switch -For whatever reason, the instructions tell you to put two 3-long Technic levers facing downwards on the bottom of the car, and they serve no purpose until at the very end when it tells you to take them off again. My only guess is that they're there to balance the vehicle on an even surface when the wheels are not attached; the oddly large 2x2 round plates on the bottom are probably a part of it too. In any case, i've left them on the model 4895 - Motion Power (C model - Attack Helicopter) - Theme: Creators LDD 4.3.8 .LXF file Notes: Rubber band not attached Battery box 54950c01 replaced with 59510c01 Electric wire 5306bc0361 replaced with plates, and grouped to make them stand out 47154c01 Electric Motor 9V replaced with brick-built assembly ----------- As an added bonus, this set has two models that are given very barebones instructions; showing only the chassis and the system built in only a handful of steps with numerous pieces per step, with the final model pictured afterwards, these being a mechanical beetle and a construction crane. The large but functionally limited part selection doesn't make them easy to replicate... if anyone wants to try their luck with 'em, go ahead.
  14. Ah, of course then -.- I just imagined that he'd be sitting straight up x3
  15. Back into the fray, with more Racers! 8357 - Zonic Strike - Theme: Racers LDD 4.3.8 .LXF file Notes: Missing/incorrect stickers and prints Pullback Motor 9 x 4 x 2 1/3 (Motor 7) replaced with a brick-built assembly. Wheel 44293c0144293c01 isn't available on LDD, replaced with 44292+44309 Hose, Rigid 3mm D. 22L / 17.6cm cannot be flexed in LDD, replaced with 2x Hose, Soft Axle 11 8357 - Zonic Strike (B model - Desert) - Theme: Racers LDD 4.3.8 .LXF file Notes: Missing/incorrect stickers and prints Pullback Motor 9 x 4 x 2 1/3 (Motor 7) replaced with a brick-built assembly. Wheel 44293c0144293c01 isn't available on LDD, replaced with 44292+44309 8357 - Zonic Strike (C model - Drag) - Theme: Racers LDD 4.3.8 .LXF file Notes: Missing/incorrect stickers and prints Pullback Motor 9 x 4 x 2 1/3 (Motor 7) replaced with a brick-built assembly. Wheel 44293c0144293c01 isn't available on LDD, replaced with 44292+44309 The pullback motor should be grouped in each of the sets for your ease of use~ Not the prettiest but i think all the dimensions and things are correct
