Lovely movie. This is what can be called a complete package.

The movie definitely deserves to be watched - amazing visuals, superb acting as well as an excellent storyline - Christopher Nolan, do doubt, has done a great job with this one. The only downside (if it can be called that) is the excess scientific jargon in the movie, especially in the second half. Maybe because I am not from an academically scientific background as such, but there were certain sections of the movie where I didn't really get what they meant and was left wondering for a couple of moments as to what is unfolding in front of my eyes. Did anyone else also feel that way?

The last movie we watched together as a family was Penguins of Madagascar. I would give it a rating of 3.5/5.. but the kids loved it too much. They were in splits throughout; I have to admit that the gags were hilarious.

May this Christmas end the present year on a cheerful note and make way for a fresh and bright new year... Here's wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Though I am eagerly awaiting these movies, I somehow feel nothing can beat the original Harry Potter series... That was too good to be replicated again.

There's something about me and cartoons.. I remember enjoying them since I was a kid and somehow that feeling of enjoyment has only increased as I have grown older! Love watching them with my son - Dexter, Scooby Doo, The Flintstones and Jungle Book are my all-time favorites.

If a typical movie buff like me starts to list down movies, the list will be infinite! Still, I'll name a couple of the very best movies in different genres, which deserve to be watched. Here goes: Action: 1. The Hurt Locker (2009): This movie is based on the personal war-time experiences of journalist Mark Boal and is set in Iraq. Jeremy Renner has delivered a power-packed performance. 2. The Bourne Ultimatum (2007): In a race to solve the mystery of his past, Matt Damon is being hunted by members of the very organization he was hired into earlier. 3. Catch Me If You Can (2002): Directed by Steven Spielberg, this is a story about a gifted forger who attempts to stay one step ahead of the lawman determined to bring him to justice. Animation: 1. Up (2009): A comedy adventure about a 78 year old balloon salesman Carl, who ties thousands of balloons to his home to fulfil his lifelong dream of flying away to the wilds of South America. 2. How to Train Your Dragon (2010 & 2014): The story of how humans and dragons can live amicably side by side and be friends for ever, portrayed by Hicuup and his pet dragon Toothless. (There are even dragon games available based on the characters of the movie) 3. Despicable Me (2010): A sweet and witty bit of animated fun with eye-popping 3D effects. Romance: 1. When Harry Met Sally (1989): A romantic comedy which chronicles the 11-year old relationship between Harry and Sally. 2. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004): Kate Winslet has had her memories of her relationship with Jim Carry erased from her brain via an experimental procedure and Jim decided to go for the procedure himself. 3. Four Weddings and a Funeral (1994): The romance between a charming and bumbling Englishman and a beautiful American woman who seem to always run into each other at weddings forms the backdrop of this beautiful movie.

The Nikon Coolpix S5300 is pretty good. I recently bought the Nikon Coolpix S6700 digital camera. Beautiful picture quality and very easy to use as well.

Seasons in the Sun - Westlife. Sad song but the lyrics and tune are pretty good.

Plants vs Zombies. And also this new online NFL game that I discovered recently. Anybody knows of any more such 'sport' games that can be played online?

Now it's Shakira's Waka Waka... Can't seem to get the song out of my head..

I swear by F.R.I.E.N.D.S. Have seen re-runs of it and still don't get tired of it!

Good idea - will help us do our bit towards this worthy cause. Hey, did you hear about how Corey Griffin, one of the founders of this ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, passed away last week? He was just 27 years old! Had an accident whilst on a diving trip in Massachusetts.

Calvin and Hobbes, over and above any other cartoon. The pair is just too cute for words!
