monsinjor Posted February 24, 2014 Hello, here's another two slides from my little project ''Cruel Life'', the second one in line. First was about poor dumpster guy (http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=92639) This one is about few homeless guys ''living'' in the alley. Another side: That's it. Have a nice day! Godtshep Posted February 24, 2014 Very good indeed! Are the walls parts of buildings or just facade walls?
monsinjor Posted February 24, 2014 Thanks Godtshep. Just facade walls. I don't build town, just ''sets'' for this project.
Xcod119 Posted February 24, 2014 Very Nice! Lovely Detailing, will there be a 3rd part?
eurotrash Posted February 24, 2014 Homelessness is the least of their worries - have you seen the size of the spider that built that web? Another good Moc Monsinjor!
lightningtiger Posted February 24, 2014 Another excellent social statement there 'monsinjor', can't wait to see the next one........Brick On 'monsinjor' !
TheLazyChicken Posted February 24, 2014 Awesome! You did an excellent job on this and your alley has inspired me to build one too. Keep up the genius work!
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted February 25, 2014 Great street view! Those pictures remember me a scene from The Amazing Spiderman
Anathaema Posted February 25, 2014 How can you call those technic pins trash ?! This is outrageous ! Great MOC :)
ShrikeArghast Posted February 25, 2014 (edited) Wait... wait. You missed the hipster kid and his girlfriend who 'fled' their cozy upper middle class existences and are now homeless with cell phones. Seriously, though, at least where I live, they are increasingly becoming 'the face' of life on the streets. Edited February 25, 2014 by ShrikeArghast
monsinjor Posted February 25, 2014 Thanks guys. Don't worry about spider, he's gone. And technic pins are safe :) @Shrike, I didn't know that. So... kids and cell phones... :D I'm glad that you like it. There will be third part, soon.
whydoris Posted February 26, 2014 Another great job! I prefer the first one as it provides some contrast. More effect on the wall (peeling etc) will be better, I think.
monsinjor Posted February 26, 2014 Thanks 'whydoris'. Not all scenes will have contrasts. I agree with you, to add more peelings, cracks etc. But maybe it is just fresh new facade hehe.
ObiWanMcColey Posted February 26, 2014 The best part is the building across the street in the background. It's so colorful, and the foreground is all such a monotonous grey that it's almost like they're living in black and white. Really effective in conveying the mood.
