Last friday i got the 42006, ad build it on sunday, but i dont like those gearboxes, so i made it fully remote control:

Most of it is completely rebuild, only the arm and cab are the same, though i wanted to keep the original apperance of the set. :classic:

I also made a video to show all the functions:

More pics here. (later  )

I will present a unimog 6x6 when my camera is recharged, and i have made a video. :classic:

Agreed motorization looks great. The functionality of the set actually looks pretty cool completely rc.

Great!

I really like the 42006, the way you made it.. This is how I wanted my 8043 to be!

Now I really need to get one :sweet:

The MOG is a very very nice piece of work!

That loader drives to fast.

I like the truck cab. :classic:

i know, but there is not enough room to gear it down :cry_sad:

a speed controller would fix it, ut then one of the boom fnctions need to use the speed remote too. :classic:

The speed controller is a waste of money, you would be better just gearing it down more.

maybe im just wierd (i have 10 of them) i think they are great, and use them where i can (almost everytime for driving and compressors) but in this case tipping of the bucket would also have to use the speed remote, and that is not good so i chose this solution (gearing is not possible, not enough room)

in two months i there is an exhibition where i will use a speed remote, just to make sure it doesnt go off the table.

Nice to see that im not the only one who thinks the unimog should have 6 wheels, i myself are like you, i dont like gearboxes, so my unimog uses 5 motors now.
