As I was building an MOC in LDD today, I noticed that the hook with towball (30395) finally fits into the hinge socket element (30396)! To celebrate this, I fixed 5982 Smash 'n' Grab with a properly placed tow hook and updated all of the pictures in the post to comply with the rules. I also fixed an incorrectly placed brick in 8190 Claw Catcher and placed the joystick in the minifig's hand in 8059 Seabed Scavenger.
