I do like what you have done and think it looks pretty good to be honest, I do think the gun piece looks cool as an exhaust but it does seem overly large, big enough for small pets and children to crawl into, which just makes the whole section look quite bulbous. I read the comments and realized that I unwittingly misled some of you :) The pistol exhaust option is the official Lego set and my fix is on the left.
