Risk of buying retired sets with large # of brown parts

It's not fixed. My ship-in-a-bottle (quite recent) lost one of its sail, inside the bottle & out of nowhere, due to a reddish brown tile+clip.

(not only that, but this wouldn't have happened to the old, stronger tile+clip moulds)

Yikes! This is a disturbing thread. I haven’t had stuff break, but I also still have tons of sets in boxes and whatnot, waiting to be built.

(It seems like it’s more of a thread that should be in General rather than Star Wars, though.)

That's quite interesting. Maybe it's just a lottery now on which ones will break and which ones won't.
