bricks n bolts Posted February 15, 2016 That's lovely. Guess LDD doesn't have the old square looking wheels with studs, anyone have a use for them? They have friction ridges unlike the blue era spoked wheels so on 'modern' trains are pretty useless as far as I can tell.

Like this crane Oh and I'm working on 119 right now!

Whilst mentioning old coal cars, still have some of those white triangular pieces for the end caps, can't think of a way to reuse those now either except as more coal cars... I mean..... the beams that the crane is made out of.... it uses the old wheels to snot those beams! Just a ton of the white 2x8s I really wish I could find what hinge they used then. I think they used something like it in recent space sets

Yes, think I have some of those hinges still as well. They are red http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=314&in=S plus http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=314&in=S Although they never separated into two pieces as long as I've had them. You're right, also appeared in more recent space sets..
baard Posted February 15, 2016 Nice renderings. I have that old book somewhere and remember building some of the models just by looking at the picture. In those days, the instructions seldom were more than 1 page long anyway....
