DoubleT Posted June 2, 2004 Is Pro Wrestling a Sport?
sam89 Posted June 2, 2004 No, because it isn't real. If they were actually having proper fights, then it would be a sport. But since it's fixed, it isn't. ;)
jonfett Posted June 2, 2004 I agree with Sam. The "wrestlers" *cough* actors *cough* are probably homo-sexual, body builders with gallons of false tan on. I wonder what would happen if we put them in a ring with say.. a boxer!! I think it too hyped up and it is more a money making, and commercial sceme to lure children into buying products. IT ISN'T REAL!!! Jon.
DoubleT Posted June 2, 2004 Lol Is boxing? They are just as much fixed ;)
jonfett Posted June 2, 2004 But it is still real, even if people bribe and purposely loose. In wrestling they practice moves and there isn't any real contact, whereas in boxing there is. Jon.
DoubleT Posted June 2, 2004 Well who is the smart one? The one that get hit, or the one fakes an hit, and get rich ;)
jonfett Posted June 2, 2004 Hmmm.. ok, ok you win. I guess wrestling isn't that bad, but still, I don't like it. Jon.
Jipay Posted June 2, 2004 Well in France it doesn't have a single form of success. Nobody watch it and no channels show it. It just doesn't exist here. And it's fine for me :P
jonfett Posted June 2, 2004 We have about 4 channels for it here in the UK. But those are the ones I never watch... I swear! Jon.
