Duq Posted January 18, 2015 May I ask why? You can just buy those parts on Bricklink... Anyway, the parts are available in LDraw so all you need is a way to convert that to a format that works for 3D printers.
garethjellis Posted January 18, 2015 Its actually for CNC milling out of aluminium or brass. exporting from LDraw is above my skill level. I hate to re invent the wheel if some one has already done it, If not then I will have to CAD one.
legoman666 Posted January 19, 2015 I ordered a pair of these in stainless steel. I haven't received them yet, but I will report back when I do. https://www.shapeways.com/model/3021348?materialId=23&li=ostatus They weren't cheap.

Silly_donkey Posted April 14, 2015 Any update on this project? I had the same idea to have these cast in brass but I would need a mock up to cast that is 4% bigger to compensate for the shrinkage when casting. Getting the mockup 3D printed would be ideal, just need a file where the model's dimensions are enlarged 4%
