I am not sure about the categories to be honest. I only have a single set as a prize anyway, which makes 3 categories a bit harder.

And even if there could be, tire size is not the best metric. It would discourage crazy entries like this:

However, the idea of a modular car design is something I have been wanting to do for quite some time. Like a chassis with modular bodywork or a modular chassis.

I do wonder; with our ongoing critique on TLG of only releasing cars....we tend to do a lot of car contests. So maybe TLG is right and cars are just more popular than other type of models.

(don't want to start an off topic discussion btw hehe)

Number of entries in various contests definitely reflect TLG's releases at least to some extent. I believe the small car contest a few years back had highest number of entries of all time, and the construction equipment contest a bit later was very popular too. On the other hand, other contests, such as GBC and the recent non-vehicle contest, as well as the transformation contest had only a few entries, barely enough to make it a contest.
