Steering, openable hood and pistons in another car shell/license. That's about it. As someone mentioned in the other topic, this may be saturation point.

To be fair, if I remember correctly, this is the first car of this scale to have a hood that opens forward.

Lol. They found a way to circumvent the compound curves needs prints rule by just making a smaller sticker for the wheel arches. Huge costs saved, bonuses payed! I can already see the color mismatch of the white and blue compared to the bricks and how bad it will look on an all white, yellowing model.

Well, I like the color scheme, but yes, as has already been explained before, licensed cars have gotten way to repetitive across the Technic line and are getting to the point where all are pretty self-explanatory. This set is yet another licensed car joining the Car Transporter gang.

Considering all the cars we have been getting, I really can't believe it has taken them this long to do a Viper.

As stated in the Ferrari thread, it's about time we get some better rims for this subtheme.

You know, say what you will about the quantity of Technic cars lately, but I am at least fairly pleased with their choices of late. A Viper or Eclipse is a lot more interesting to me than a lot of the supercars that used to predominate.

Certain cars shouldn't be made in technic at this scale. It is as ugly as 42093 and it doesn't resemble real one.
