Hello everyone,

After 2-years, I’m back to share a project that has been on my desk for the last 18 months.

This is an Imperial Dam on Kashyyyk, set during the Dark Times era. I wanted to move away from the traditional clean Imperial aesthetic and explore a grimmer, more oppressive atmosphere. The build is quite massive, standing 75cm tall on a 64x48 studs base.

The Concept: The MOC is designed as a vertical story. At the top, you have the lush, chaotic jungle of Kashyyyk. As you go down, the Imperial influence takes over, ending in a muddy, brutalist base where the environment is being crushed by the machine. I purposefully made sure no faces are visible on the MOC to emphasize the cold, dehumanized nature of the Empire.

I’ve also produced a cinematic video with specific sound design and lighting to really capture the mood I was aiming for. If you want to see the details in motion, you can watch it here:

I’m really happy to be back and I’d love to hear your thoughts,.

Thanks for looking !

Nice set.

But linking like that does not work here on this forum. But if you instead post it as https://flic.kr/p/2s8bcqX, then it will work. As in, you get to choose to either show it as picture, or as a link, as below.

This is an epic moc - I love it! :pir-love:

The angled wall of the dam is already so rich on details that I could look at it and explore it for hours. Then there also the interior, the reservoir and even some vegetation!

Great job all around!
