Those digital terminators all gonna get us... the future is now! Besides, wasn't this guy among (if not) the first to make claims about a Cobb Vanth's Speeder set? I remember being initially excited, going back to disinterest when I heard the source, only to return to excitement when more reputable sources in here backed this rumour up. At least the claims here aren’t outrageous. Carson Teva in particular would be awesome, but I’ll wait for further confirmation. 2 hours ago, BrickPrick said: Isn't that how algorithms are supposed to work? I don’t recall seeing such recommendations before, but of course they changed it for the sake of the almighty ALGORITHM Quote

But he was the first to claim: the Buildable Ewok, the Midi Venator, the 332nd Battlepack (2026), Cobb Vanth’s Speeder and the Darth Vader bust. I’d begrudgingly say that’s more than a broken clock. He also claims that Carson Teva is in the X-Wing. Wise Vanth's speeder and the 332nd pack are enough to make him reliable for me. The rest are understandable guesses (though maybe not all at once), but nobody could have guessed Cobb's speeder, and NOBODY could have guessed lego would throw a SECOND 332nd battle pack out 2.5 years after the last one. 7 hours ago, BrickPrick said: Isn't that how algorithms are supposed to work? Yup- Thanks- sort of like how you adjust your profile picture for your next desired character, I've been trying to keep it updated to represent my next MOC project. The last one just got really delayed so I stuck with the old PFP for almost a year. 3 hours ago, BrickBob Studpants said: The minifig of Ryan Gosling’s character from Project Hail Mary has a new face print! …and glasses on the other side So much for it being reused next year for the Starfighter sets You never know, Pershing did canonize glasses... but fair to assume he'll have his own print. He is the main character in a star wars movie, so re-using prints ideally wouldn't be a budgetary necessity anyway. Quote

Haha, while this wasn't my intention back when I joined Eurobricks and picked this particular Cad as my profile picture, I quickly adapted to that in anticipation to his glorious release. Like sure, why not... let's make this a game. Speaking of which, I actually switched back to Bane for this special occasion... just for this single day. Since then I'm back to the long lasting misery that is Boss Nass. In hindsight, I should've picked Zam Wesell or someone even a little bit more realistic. Quote

I’m sure that’s where the overall toyline for TMaG across Hasbro / Lego / Jazwares will be unveiled. Just makes sense. I’m looking forward to the Super Bowl spot and hopefully a full trailer on Sunday, hopefully Lucasfilm step up their marketing game with this film. Hasbro’s also revealed some Vintage Collection figures from Maul: Shadow Lord of Marrok and the 11th Brother / ‘Crow’. Based on that and what Funko have already revealed, I think it’s safe to assume Lucasfilm have been pushing the Inquisitor characters quite hard to licensees. Hopefully that also entails some representation in the rumoured Lego set. Quote

A minifig of the Eleventh Brother would be fantastic, but I’m kinda worried they’d do Marrok again instead. They already have the helmet and would only need to remove the rust from the previous torso print My personal wish would be a set with Maul, Devon, the Eleventh Brother, and a TK Trooper. Not very likely, but a man can dream Quote

To teach it not battle, but stillness. The kind I never knew." — @Swordy Blacktronson in the TIE Avengers: Release Day teaser trailer (Day #276 of TIE Avenger drama) Unironically, the Thor one was my favourite teaser so far, so I’m very glad to see it parodied. “Blacktronson” is killing me, lol. (Curious if you’ll do the Magneto teaser too. I don’t know who’d portray him in Release Day, though.) I can’t believe it, but I’m believe I’m finally at the point in my Eurobricks career where I’m so discouraged by recent LSW news to discuss them. Nevertheless, I shall try. @icm almost perfectly sums up my thoughts (yes, the Swordy has been Swordy’d); I’ll only disagree on the midi-legs being better on Yoda than Wicket, as I recall that the Ewoks are taller than Yoda in the movies. (Plus, tall Yoda is a nightmare which has plagued LSW since 2007, and I’m distraught to see it starting to take shape in official LSW.) That Falcon most of all offends me. I mean, look at how they massacred my boy. Even without the red levers that stick out, even beyond the fact that the canopy doesn’t enclose its pilots from the vacuum of space; the shaping is rough—the curved slopes under the windscreen stick out to me—and the proportions are off. Just a glance at the LEGO UCS Falcon tells me that the radar dish and cockpit need to be roughly the same diameter—even the Microfighter gets this right; instead, the “smart” Falcon’s radar is four studs, while the canopy is six studs. It creates a weird forced-perspective that only works on its right side. I probably like the Landspeeder best. It feels like a perfect playset; instead of seeking to recreate an exact moment from Star Wars, it asks what else Luke was up to before he arrived onscreen. I feel the same about the Cantina; that it’s not trying to copy the iconic scene one to one, but the lack of other denizens weakens that argument. The news that some of my most anticipated LSW sets of ‘26 might be pushed to ‘27 is disheartening. Bounty Hunter Pursuit and Ewok Village seem like likelier candidates for the 50th anniversary celebration than Rogue One’s tenth birthday. At least Anakin’s Jedi SF seems reasonable to expect this calendar year, although I will be slightly dissatisfied if a third figure like Dooku isn’t included. (Unreasonable to hold out hope for a third figure, yes, but I… have nothing quippy to counter that.) Hearing that there maybe an upcoming set from the Maul show does excite me. I’m always down for sets based on new SW animation. (I just wish TBB had gotten one more.) 21 hours ago, Kaijumeister said: I’m looking forward to the Super Bowl spot and hopefully a full trailer on Sunday, hopefully Lucasfilm step up their marketing game with this film. Yeah, the tone of the general public around this film seems all too similar to the one surrounding Solo: A Han Solo Story Movie, and it certainly isn’t making me feel any optimistic for the future of the Mandoverse. Maybe with a better push in marketing, the film will avoid an outright bomb. 23 hours ago, CloneCommando99 said: Only if: there were no smart minifigs, the build wasn’t compromised and the Smart Brick’s only purpose was to play Niamos and recite Nemik’s manifesto. Mara Jade, Luke’s girlfriend. After 250 years, we've finally reached the ultimate honor of being represented by Ted Lasso. (This will do until @CloneCommando99's avengers posters reach The New Avengers) It is by far the best they've done. I like Cyclops so seeing him in the suit was cool, but in terms of conveying any sort of actual meaning, seeing a serious Thor again gave me more hope than anything else I've heard about this movie. I feel like Magneto and Professor X would need to be some of the older moderators. A momentous occasion- ICM needs to put that in his signature. I'm biased in favor of the falcon since I've wanted them to creep the price point down for awhile, but that bias can only get me from "the worst of an already extremely compromised wave" to "not the worst one but still horribly compromised" It is a good point in favor of the landspeeder that it pulls off the side builds most successfully- and side builds in general are great to have. This is really concerning and something disney REALLY needs to get on top of. I've said for awhile that to regain some audience goodwill disney just needs this to be a fun popcorn movie, not a deep piece or $2b hit, but people do still need to watch the movie so they should probably start marketing it. I think you forgot a few- namely Mara Jade, but I also wouldn't mind a cheaper range trooper, purge trooper, Mara Jade, second sister, and if we're looking at legends, Mara Jade, Darth Nihilus, Bastila Shan, a new Shatele Shan, Mara Jade, HK-47 or his canon cousins, Canderous Ordo, Zaalbar, and of course Mara Jade. 3 hours ago, BrickBob Studpants said: This year’s AC will be Mando-themed with Din & Gideon in Xmas sweaters, the new Grogu, an X-Wing pilot, Jawa, IG droid, and the usual brick-built creatures (Blurrg, Bantha, Mudhorn, Dewback) and vehicles (Outland TIE) ^^ I suppose the Jawa will be reused from the upcoming Sandcrawler A little unfortunate that we're back to the new prints being christmas sweaters and the builds being microbuilds, but that's moreso because we're coming off such a strong calendar last year than this one being anything particularly unfortunate. Overall it sounds good- a cheaper way to get the new Grogu is good, and even if he's got a christmas sweater, is is great to get Gideon in any capacity. For the main villain of the mandalorian show, he needs to be more availible than showing up in two sets. The Jawa from the sandcrawler and likely the pilot from the new X-wing. I wonder if it's Teva, Trapper Wolf, or someone with the generic face print. Quote

I think they need more than a "fun popcorn movie". Solo was arguably a fun popcorn movie and it flopped. They need a Rogue one quality or higher movie to get Star Wars back into the mainstream. Quote
