What is it about y'all being excited about an 89 cent gear so much? Just buy it from B&P's. 1/3 of this "good parts pack" is just 2 cent pins anyway.

Exactly this, I don't get it either when people get excited about a set having a diff. I have so many diff parts just from all the sets, they take up a lot of storage space.

I'd say this is even bad as a parts pack. You get just 1 from many parts in a given color, just a single side from panels that are asymmetric. Not too useful. The only utility is the existence of some recolors.

Besides all that, it looks really ugly. Not only is it like broken china because of the usual panel discontinuities, on top of that almost every part is a different color, and where not, it has stickers that break even the unicolor surface. Not exactly good source material for technic paneling..

Just because it's hardly in any set so I wont want it to get discontinued any time soon.

Are those 45 degree 3x2 panels in blue in the rear holding the spoiler?

I believe so

Ok, interesting, the 42226 probably is the first car transporter gang car with thinner wheels on the back. Or the builder kid doesn't know what he is doing;).

It could be just mistake during build...and wrong photo published...that's all

It literally has wide tires on the photo of the rear. It's just marketing doing the usual...

The 42093 and car that came on the Transporter both used small tires all around.  I suppose not since then.

By the way, the look of the thinner wheels is better than the wider one in my opinion, because the rims are flat on the outer side, not recessed.
