Ah, I become nostalgic, the Porsche, the wrong gearbox sequence, the dedumos and jb70 gang here in EB. Good ol days, the 2026 set for sure wont have such amount of buzz, not even a quarter I think! Nothing beats the excitement for the revelation of every single set of 2016 2H. Quote

TLG just started to milk these new gearbox parts. Quote

Ducati, Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki, BMW, Aprilia, MV Augusta, KTM just off the top of my head all make superbikes 16 hours ago, thekoRngear said: There has to be a 1:8 scale car as 2026 marks the 10th anniversary of UCS Car lineup. WOW, the Porsche was one of the first sets I bought when I started getting back into Lego as an adult. I hadn't thought about it, but where did that time go? :) Quote
Jim Posted January 11 Posted January 11 I remember having the Porsche review ready and everybody was waiting for the clock to turn to midnight, so I could publish the review! The good old days. I definitely don't want to do reviews anymore, so it's all fine now, but I do remember the days....and that day was fun. Nowadays, it's 99% about cars in Technic and I haven't have the urge (besides two F1 cars to complete my collection) to buy new Technic sets. I really hope there will be a new set scratching my itch. Timorzelorzworz Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Fun fact: The upcoming 42236 Ford Mustang as an addition to the released 42223 Ford GT shares the same 3 digits in parts count. 973 to 793. This means nothing. Quote
Jockos Posted January 13 Posted January 13 According to faniklockow.pl, the 42239 Batmobile will have 719 pieces. It also mentions remote controlling but I highly doubt. Quote

howitzer Posted January 14 Posted January 14 7 hours ago, mahjqa said: The App-controlled batmobile had only 316 pieces. That was a System build though, Technic builds have inherently more parts due to pins. But its true that RC cars are entirely possible even with small amount of parts and 719 is more than enough, especially with the all-in-one hub. Quote
Auroralampinen Posted Tuesday at 06:40 PM Author Posted Tuesday at 06:40 PM Ok, there will be a technic blind box series yayyy:). Quote
Jockos Posted Tuesday at 06:50 PM Posted Tuesday at 06:50 PM It will be a fun little toy and surprise for kids, but I hope we'll get something remarkably bigger construction set this summer... Quote
Zerobricks Posted Tuesday at 07:13 PM Posted Tuesday at 07:13 PM That's a really awesome set, perfect for family, team building, LUG gatherings and competitions, etc... Reminds me of old 4 in 1 sets, very nostalgic. Quote

Well, it's a bit like 8433, but these six can't be combined into one, and they're too small, a bit abstract, and is this the construction machinery we are looking forward to.... R0Sch Posted Wednesday at 09:02 AM Posted Wednesday at 09:02 AM Sorry, I just don't see the appeal of these 6-in-1 microbuilds. They also seem to contain less pieces than a Technic magazine gift. It looks like it's the same box in a display unlike the collectible minifigures where you have 12 or more. Quote

Jim Posted Wednesday at 09:23 AM Posted Wednesday at 09:23 AM It does scream collectible to me. Or it's 8-in-1....not sure :D Quote
R0Sch Posted Wednesday at 09:44 AM Posted Wednesday at 09:44 AM (edited) Well, if there will be 8 different kits, then maybe I won't be able to resist. Let's see. Edit: Looking at the right corner, you can see 8 models on the box, so It's really 8 different ones (the same tick mark as seen in CMF's) rather then an 8-in-1, but there is also a "Series 1" written on it so there could be more in the future. It's true that I am one of those, but that is not the point here. Quote
AVCampos Posted Wednesday at 10:01 AM Posted Wednesday at 10:01 AM I feel those are one year early: they would've been a quirky (but hopefully not the only one) celebration of Technic's 50th anniversary in 2027. Quote

Nah. Let them make something outstanding for the 50th anniversary instead of minikits and preferably excluding cars. Quote
AVCampos Posted Wednesday at 10:30 AM Posted Wednesday at 10:30 AM Collectible minifigsmodels and a celebratory set aren't mutually exclusive... I hope. Quote
Maaboo the Witch Posted Wednesday at 10:34 AM Posted Wednesday at 10:34 AM Can't wait for the 18+ blind box sets. Throw down £350 and open the box to find out what you get! Quote
