I wonder what 42228 will be (it's the largest 1h set)

42228 is rumoured to be APXGB car from the F1 movie

Ok, amazing that city launches brand new Technic pieces:).

This integrated component may be released as a small-scale technic version of the mixer truck in the future

I've always wanted to do a mini 42212 but dont wanna use the studded mixer drum, while the 42212 drum is too big. Finally a small technic mixer drum for me!!

Hopefully this time they made a drum piece that has openings on both ends (one of which being covered for usage on cement mixers, of course): that'd make it infinitely more useful for GBC.

Well, so far the most curious set for me is the city 60499. Im really curious how they fitted that hand of god steering system in a city set:).

Here is racingbrick's reveal video:).

If I had to guess it's probably like the linkages you'd find on smaller Technic sets where it's just a bar attached to "wheel hubs" moving left right (42203 most modern example I think). There's plenty of ways to connect System and Technic and they are integrating Technic features into City, like this year's Bulldozer.

I love it when TLG makes the right choices!

He is back! Maaboo the bear sorry the witch is back! Where you been these days! Prolly batting the bears from Gatlinburg off Five Guys!

Out of all the 2026 official sets' photos I chose to be convinced by 42224 and believe it will be better than his Ford GT 2022 one!

I don’t think it’s hand of god steering.  It’s most likely used to rotate the drum.

Should I ask why we're discussing a City set anyway being in the Technic Discussion

City is the defacto Technic now.

Actually, I'm more curious about the summer wave... about the same time last year, we had the names of the June wave.

It's really laughable that we are at a state to hope for at least 1 or 2 models that are not cars or bikes...

Lego part 57792 could be what you want. I know it doesn't have a fully technic base, but it is quite similar.
