Auroralampinen Posted June 15 Posted June 15 The 42212 has those new 4L links. This seems more and more promising for a cheap parts pack:). Quote
jorgeopesi Posted June 15 Posted June 15 Nice, it means that this piece will be available soon and cheaper than I thought, buying this set it is not a bad idea at all. Quote
Zerobricks Posted June 15 Posted June 15 Oh wow, nice find. And they are even in a different color! Quote
gyenesvi Posted June 15 Posted June 15 It's indeed really cool to see that they immediately come in two useful colors! I think Lego is stepping up their inventory game, as seen by the improvements to PaB deliveries as well, so I expect that the trend of getting more and more recolors is just going to keep on, thankfully. msk6003 Posted June 16 Posted June 16 Interesting. Differential is far behind from rear wheel. Maybe has some gears between them. Quote

Auroralampinen Posted June 16 Posted June 16 Yup i think i see those blue gears. Apparently this model will have speed up gear ratio. (maybe to recreate authentic roarring engine sounds;).) Quote
Paul B Technic Posted June 16 Posted June 16 That is a cool detail, hopefully it works well and brings "something" different to this line. Quote
Auroralampinen Posted July 6 Posted July 6 Interesting, the 42212 includes important piece for steam locomotives. Now its matter of time, when some one turns 2x 42212 to steam locomotive as an alternative build:). Quote
1gor Posted July 6 Posted July 6 @Auroralampinen I hope it will not be motorized because part is not particularly stiff (due to stiffness isssue I had to abandon one project). Indeed Ferrari is IMHO at the monent better set than Aston Martin... Quote
Auroralampinen Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago Here is overview video of this set:). And interestingly, the 42212 has an gear up ration:). Quote
Zerobricks Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Looks like a really neat set, I'd say it's very close to the Jesko (which is my fav 1:16 model). I like the effort put to move the differential back in order to accomodate the V12 engine, working scissor doors and the fact there are almost no straight surfaces. Might get one. Quote
