Kozikyo86 Posted April 1 Posted April 1 Hi, today I wanted to take you on a nostalgic journey to Lego Atlantis and my new MOC: Gateway of the Squid Did you know that this series is already 15 years old? Do you feel old? On this occasion I decided to build one of my favorite sets from this series! all the details and the whole story about the series can be found in my film, link below! Did you have any sets? How do you remember Lego Atlantis? Quote
SpacePolice89 Posted April 2 Posted April 2 I like this build. The proportions and colors are great and you have managed to create a nice combination of buildings, animals, terrain and vehicles. All the small details are so fun to look at. This would be perfect for Lego Ideas. Quote
Daiman Posted April 2 Posted April 2 I remember fondly this theme, it really got my building excited and opened up many possibilities. Space underwater... Quote
Feuer Zug Posted April 10 Posted April 10 Wicked build. It fits the theme well and it wonderfully detailed. Quote
Kai NRG Posted April 11 Posted April 11 Great to see this nod to a theme I really enjoyed back in its day, you did a really clean job turning it into a display piece! Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted April 13 Posted April 13 Amazing MOC, much nicer than the official set you were inspired by! I really like the white squid and the red underwater scooter. The detail of the dead diver and the squid eggs (illuminated) is wonderful. Sharing the video makes you understand the complexity of this set. (The only set I bought in 2010 was 8057 and the thing I liked the most was the minifigures' underwater suit with the big transparent helmet) Quote
