I think we both know the answer to that. We want the real deal or nothing at all. I actually think some throwaway stuff would make matters worse. It very well could be more like the final nail in the coffin, rather than a sliver of hope. And only intensify the desire for the full set, which then may not happen anymore.

I never saw anyone who likes the printed waist capes. There might be some people who don't mind them per se, but actual liking? Even the most blinded fanboy would be hard pressed to pretend this, though.

The price for the upcomming Lego Star Wars Magazine, coming with Ahsoka, is 8 kriffin' Euros  

Nobody should buy this. It's almost double the Bricklink price of the minifig 

I wonder how much the magazine costs in different countries. Or is it the same price everyhwere?

Was zum Henker... I mean, this deal is really getting worse all the time. This makes no fun anymore. Good luck getting a discount on this one! 

I already got the Ahsoka from last year's Advent Calendar, so i wasn't picking up this magazine anyways, but these crazy price hikes obviously do not bode well for future ones. Like why would anybody want to get a trooper for eight bucks when you can have a Battle Pack for ~15€? It's just not worth it anymore.  

From what i recall, just like the figure selection may vary be region, so too can the price point for selected magazines by like a Euro or so... not sure about the UK, though.

That particular magazine is already available in France, and it comes with a sticker sheet. Maybe that's why there's a price increase? I hope that trend doesn't continue.

The Maul issue we get afterwards (8 August in Germany) comes with a tin box, so I guess the price will stay high.

The price of the magazine is also printed on the backside now. So most people will only notice it when they check-out.

Hmm, beforehand there was always a "Limited Edition" Lego Star Wars card and sometimes even a Booster Pack of the Trading Card game included, yet the price consistently stayed the same at five/six Euros. So not too sure this price increase, 33% no less, was caused by any more extras. Contrary to the last price increases starting from four bucks, they actually included more minifigs on a yearly basis, so i was fine with that. This one, however, seems to appear out of thin air and doesn't make any sense to me.

Seriously, though - the idea of duel sets coming back sounds great. Ideally, it would be the $15 or, more likely, $20 set, and not something more expensive. If it does end up being something more expensive, hopefully we get the bartender and not a repeated Mando or something.

Also, I hope they keep Cad Bane the shade of blue he was in previous sets - I always thought he looked pretty pale in BOBF.

Okay, with the Rancor's friendly permission, i would like to bet a TBOBF Cad Bane minifigure is gonna release in any given 2026 set. I need someone who thinks it won't. Winner gets to choose the loser's avatar for an to be determined amount of time.

It's me, hi I'm the problem it's me. Well personally I prefer them to the fabric ones but they'd be dual molded as well as printed in an ideal world.

I can't really remember the specifics because it was about 8 years ago but for a brief period quite a few forum members ( myself and @VaderFan2187  included) all changed our PFP's to what was called 'Freaky Yoda'. It was an edited still of Yoda from ESB from when he fell and screamed but it was in red with motion lines and an enlarged mouth and fear of gulls.

I wonder what that means for the other things suggested alongside it? Maybe they're all coming. I would like some of  Maul's Mauldalorians. 

Hopefully Rook Kast will be in an Shadow lord set too.

Not that i would doubt the actual upgrade, but if i look at the overall quality standard of modern Lego Star Wars minifigures, i think we are still ways off getting dual molded legs more reliably. In terms of just using the printed solution, it might be helping if it was to extend to the side of the legs. Other than that... Just bring back the damn cloth kamas! But yeah, like you said, in an ideal world. 

Ah yes... i see. Aware of the seagulls meme, i am. Sounds like some good fun, it does. Talking no more about this, i will.

I honestly don't mind that particular set idea a ton (IF IT'S AFFORDABLE) but I do not like that this is included, as it lends credibility to the list that dooms 2026.

I don't know if you've been here for many Renown hints, but the only time I can think of where his quote wasn't either from the character or about the character was when he quoted the book 1984, which he later said was just a joke he made after having a bit too much blue milk and wasn't a real hint to his recollection.

All that to say, Cad Bane is more or less confirmed for next year.

Yeah dual molding on that many clone characters is unlikely, though I think side leg printing is something they use even less frequently.

But I dunno, I just don't like the cloth kamas, they feel out of place to me. I guess I'm used to cloth capes but not skirts. So as unpopular as this opinion is, I just don't really care if they return as id probably leave them off the figs anyway.

The aforementioned Cad Bane V Cob Vanth set

If they can go back to TBoBF, can they please go back the Accolyte. I'd like the shows characters but even more than that some (hopefully magazine or otherwise cheaply accessible) High Republic styled Jedi Robes would be very great to get.

I've now finished the last book and I'd love to see high republic stuff.

Sol would be especially fun as I've just finished Squid game ( didn't watch S2 till after S3 came out) and with a double of him I could use the robes to make Stellan and the face to make Seong Gi-Hun.

I still got my fair share of his hints and should know better in this regard for sure. But i'm still just at a point where i basically don't allow myself to fully believe or even expect it. Hence why i cautiously optimistic wanna bet on it. Well, here's hoping there wasn't any blue milk involved this time around. 

Oh baby... So you are telling me there is more than a chance? I actually thought this minifigure will never see the light of day. This would be super special to me.

That's true. Both are very rare, the former probably be more expensive than the latter, yet both would be helping making it look less like gun holsters. 

Okay, that's an interesting take. Though i have that stance the other way around. I can't stand the printed kamas, but i don't mind the printed robes at all. 

Let's say you remembered the major stuff. The rest was supposed to be a Vader Bust and midi-scale Venator.

Same! Them going back to TBoBF is pretty huge, even if it‘s just for this set  I still want more characters from the Mando era to get the minifig treatment (fingers crossed for the M&G sets!), but these two are big names to scratch off the list of missing characters / versions!
