Doesn't ruin the figure but it's a shame it's not a more accurate colour. Also man if it's true that the smaller set won't have arm printing then that severely sucks. Especially since others like Boba and Din have it in even the cheapest sets like microfighters and the mech now. Agreed. I was really hoping they'd take this opportunity to give Jango a more accurate color; they have so many shades of purple to choose from now. I think lavender or medium lavender would've worked well. The sand blue just isn't accurate. It's crazy that the only figure to get this correct is the original Jango fig from 2002. Quote

Yeah they've done stuff like that in the past, e.g. the small feather accessory used to come on a wheel-shaped sprue with the 2 other (now retired) types. Heck, even 1x1 studs used to come as 2 together on a sprue. Quote
CallumPears Posted March 16 Posted March 16 Another thing: the leak has a pearl dark grey jetpack. It's been really annoying over the past few years that the silver one hasn't been in use on figures that could use it (e.g. Din Djarin) so maybe Jango will finally bring it back? (And maybe they just didn't have it available to use on the leaked one so used PDG instead) Especially since as it is it kinda blends in with his torso. Quote

CloneCommando99 Posted March 16 Posted March 16 (edited) There’s a LSW/ vintage toys panel at SW Celebration next month. 👀 My bet is they’ll either reveal the June sets, Jango’s Slave One or the August Buildable characters there. Also Bit Reactor’s new strategy game, M&G and a new animated project are getting panels Edited March 16 by CloneCommando99 Quote

It's been 8 years since we last saw it (just like Jango himself) but even with this year seemingly having a lower budget/allocation, surely they can afford the recolor? Quote

Found it, thanks! It does look a bit chunky but hopefully not excessively so. Other than that, the shaping looks quite good. Quote
Llewop Posted March 16 Posted March 16 (edited) So May releases is the U wing, UCS slave 1 (I’m ready for everyone’s tears when Lego doesn’t call it the slave 1). Do we know the May the 4th GWP yet, last I read was something with 3 figures. What else is coming in May? And then we have the summer sets but what is the June wave looking like? Also not one to get too political but seen on Reddit JW sets are getting price hikes just in the US. Wonder if all this tariff and Greenland nonsense might mean there be some price hikes in the US for other themes like SW etc. chances are it isn’t just Lego greed but they are a Danish company and Greenland is Danish stranger things have happened Edited March 16 by Llewop Quote

I can at least accept that the playscale one might have just been the advent of Lego's "just shove a bunch of keywords and character names" naming strategy as of late, but an 18+ set where the ship name isn't just on the boxart but actually part of the set... c'mon. There's no reason not to use the ship's real name. Really? The former, maybe, as most of the US legos are manufactured in mexico- but we've had inconsistent prices before, and it feels like the type of thing lego would make a big statement about if they did it, like they did for the inflation ones a few years back. Not to mention you'd assume it's something lego would apply to all US sets and not four sets out of a wave from a specific theme. With no change to current set prices. For something that's been fluctuating and put on hold before. I guess it's possible, but I don't think it's anything concrete or relevant to star wars sets yet. As for the latter, absolutely not. This is the second thread today where someone's been like "haha greenland", but no, I don't think lego is increasing prices on the US because of greenland. Putting aside that most parties in greenland don't WANT to be part of denmark anymore, I feel like we'd know if denmark was forcing it's companies to increase prices on the US (and to my knowledge Denmark's tariffs against other countries and the VAT haven't recently spiked). And of course, lego is an international company, motivated by profit, and I don't think it's at all realistic to suggest they're increasing prices on the US specifically out of... spite? nationalism/patriotism? Over words? It's not like the countries are at war, and it's not like lego increased prices on sets in Canada in 2005, or puts notes in the santa's workshop sets saying "The North Pole is rightfully Denmark's". Be realistic here. Quote

I mean, Daniel Logan and Temuera Morrison will attend, so it would be the best opportunity to have them smile into cameras next to their Lego counterparts. On a sidenote, Maxbaut quasi-confirmed that Krennic will be in an upcoming 1.000€ set… Quote

It'd be pretty funny for the second ship to get a remake (not counting stuff like different in-universe models of the X and Y wings) to be Krennic's Shuttle, but we've already moved from the microfighters being about the ships to about the figures, and this would be the best way yet to fill up a conference table with ISB. 3 hours ago, TotoMagnus said: Anyway I also think the Slave 1 will be shown in Japan. The last non-fleet rebel troopers were in the Rogue One sets. Seriously. I can take the clone frenzy this year if it's followed up with a Galactic Civil War dominated 2026, but even then the larger issue of "we just don't get enough normal sets" will assuredly still happen. I will give lego slack on the shadow troopers since they haven't been seen in canon story material, just games without campaigns/story modes, and a Battlefront 2 employee implied that they were being phased out of stories for Death Troopers, who have a similar aesthetic and role. A shame, but I wouldn't fault lego for it, especially since they gave us one in 2019 anyway. I'll also give it to them on the scouts, it's only been two years, and we've had large gaps before. The fact that there are potentially ZERO OT troopers this year is a huge oversight (if it was an oversight) but I'm ok with it not being the scout specifically. But as for the rest, yeah, it's a real issue. I'm a big fleet trooper guy and glad we've been getting them availible, especially since when I was growing up the only way to reliably get them was to find old copies of 2008's scout speeder at garage sales, but it's not like we can't have multiple rebel troopers on shelves at the same time. We have had hoth troopers fairly frequently around the start of the modern design era, but they're the most situational of all the trooper variants. I'm not asking for lego to put BF2015 sullust rebels or RO commandos in every other set, but could we at least have Endor troopers availible once every few years? It's been a full decade since we last saw them! That's crazy! 3 hours ago, BrickBob Studpants said: My copy of the new encyclopedia has been dispatched!
