Yeah, i wish they would make their molds more posable, sad to see the static ones like Ceolo, Juvenile Dilo, Atroc, Pyro etc

As for redoing it i have no idea, but they did remake the Dilophosaurus, albeit a bit of a downgrade, but more film size accurate

And they did remake velociratpor mold for Beta and that’s “perfect” size next to minifigure rather than the oversized one. So we will see what will happen in summer wave and beyond!

Beta is another case though since they needed a medium sized Raptor compared to the adult blue - and the baby raptor they like to include in many sets certainly was to small for it. And well raptors are way oversized in the movies and even beta would still be to big compared to minifigures sizewise.

Anyways, I don´t think they will redo the brachiosaurus mould sadly, even if I would wish they would do it so we get movable legs. However I would expect that at least a new head if they are going to reuse the other parts for the titanosaurus. But we will have to see how it looks in the new movie compared to the Brachiosaurus in JP.

Yeah, Velociatpor is not accurate in movie becuase of its size.  I feel Beta mold is about right to me. Other raptors have their size issue in lego form unfortunately.

Brachiosaurs in JP was killed in Fallen kingdom by the way. Anyways, i agree with you that they won’t redo sauropod body parts.

I believe it's not a hard rule but a soft one. So they definitely can keep the mold longer than the 5 years. Also destroying the physical mould doesn't mean destroying the design as they will have 3D files of all their parts ( if only they Update LDD again now that it can connect to pick a brick online) which is how they resurrected the goat for example.

The 2012 triceratops is actually slightly heavier than any of the later ones, which makes me think it was discontinued, but then recreated with different interior connections

Out of curiosity,  does the 2012 verision have soft rubber horns and beak? I think Triceatops in 2019 was introduced with those soft rubber materials rather than hard plastic  for a first time but i might be wrong.

In other words, I don’t have the Triceratopps mold from 2012.

As far as I can tell from mine yes rubber horns and beak, you mean the original one from the dino theme right?

So, with rumors of a JP3 inspired Velociraptor appearing in Rebirth, could it call for just a new head mold to put on the existing raptor head or something new entirely to scale with minifigs better?

Since 76975 is 199 pieces and $50, the JW Dominion wave had the 4+ T. Rex 76944 with 140 pieces for $50, so I wouldn't be surprised if this one ended up being the 4+ set. I'd like to think it would just be a T. Rex set, because if they did a new Dino in such an overprices 4+ set, I'd assume a lot of fans would get annoyed.

As for the raptor mold discussion, don't know how well it could work, but they did do some new Dino molds in the Marvel wave. Set 112000 has the baby Stego mold, and two raptor molds, which are the same size as the Atrociraptor. They just have the massive bulbous head, which I thought might have been its own piece, but the only separate piece is the lower jaw. Don't think either of them would work well because their heads are massive, and the green one wouldn't work since it has ears molded on, but I could see the Spiderman red one working? Idk

But either way, that set gives us the baby Stego, and 11199 give us a baby Pteradon. I was certain we'd get them in the January wave, or at least one of them, but we did not. Hopefully they pop up in the next wave

Honestly im not sure we will even get a 4+ set this wave, im leaning more that we wont, but thats ok, i think that PPP on all of these are horrible is because they will have bigger pieces to try and cram in the species to these sets. It would be cool to have sets with multiple Dinos again like in the 2020 wave! I also think if we get Titanosaurus it might be brickbuilt, i hope not but with its size i wouldn't be surprised.

That Spiderman and Green Goblin mold can stay in the spiderman theme haha 🤣 i highly doubt those molds would ever be reused for Jurassic, i hope they dont anyways because those proportions are just goofy lol

If lego would even acknowledge the JP3 head quills, i think they would just alter the Velociraptor head mold we already have to add the quills, or at least how Indominus/Indoraptor got 'quills'.

I hope so too! They are good little molds, so hopefully they can use them in TLW/JP3 sets in the near future

A lego twitter artist named Lucca2951 made a pretty good mock up of a JP3 raptor, now that is something I'd buy in bulk

There are no 4+ sets in this wave. It just has a terrible piece count.

I wouldn´t say it is terrible - at least in this theme, since that means we can expect more Dino in the Set (and I don´t necessarily mean more in numbers, can aswell just be in size).

I mean, it's literally been just compared to a 4+ Jurassic set which not only had a full T. Rex, but only fifty pieces less than a regular set at the same price.

Yes, the oringal posable triceratops from 2012’s non-licensed theme.

Thanks for confirming the original mold’s rubbery horns and beak!

This link is to a reply in the comments section of one of Swrve's X(Twitter) posts, i believe this is an official Universal LinkedIn job advertisement or something of the sort, that reveals a brand new game for Jurassic Park/World! So thats pretty awesome! The main ones releasing are Jurassic Park Survival and Jurassic World Evolution 3 and hopefully this one can be a main one as well, and im hoping that it will be a new Lego game! This is my hope, nothing suggests that it is a Lego game yet, it could be anything so fingers crossed guys!

It absolutely won't. Don't expect anything like that.

You dont think we could get another Lego JW game?

Nope. They've already adapted the first four movies, and LEGO barely makes video games anymore.

And there‘s the eeny-beeny-teeny-tiny problem that TT Games don’t seem to work on any LEGO games. Ever since they lost the exclusivity, there haven‘t even been rumours of a new game, and it‘s been like 2 years :shrug_oh_well: (the recently surfaced 007 game that never existed doesn‘t count, it was only a pitch)

That's not true at all. First of all, Lego games aren't even made by lego, the license is sold and the games are developed by TT Games, and published by whichever developer helps fund the project, which is usually WB Games. Think there's like 2 lego games that haven't been made by TT, which are Fornite, and Horizon. Granted, TT used to publish a new game every year, but stopped their annual cycle in 2019, and have only released the Skywalker Saga since, in 2022, but they're still actively working on Lego video games.

A job listing at Warner Bros from September last year actually outright confirms they're working with TT games and looking to create a new lego video game "The project you will be on will be a major IP based LEGO game built in Unreal". Current speculation is it will be a collection of either Harry Potter, or DC, but Warner Brothers did publish the Lego JP game, so it's entirely possible the game they're working on is a lego JP title. It's also not uncommon for studios to have multiple projects at once. I don't think the game they're working on is a Jurassic title, but it's certainly not impossible to have a future JP lego game released in future as you're implying.

Don't listen to them, they don't know what they're talking about. A new Lego game is currently in active development

Well, that doesn't really have anything to do with what I've said.

I didn't say that no LEGO video game is in development, but that they're barely made anymore. We used to get one or two every year, and now we're lucky if we get even one.

TT hasn't made a game for the last three years, and the only ones we've gotten in the meantime were made by/for 2K, Sony, and Fortnite.

Even if we get a new TT video game in the next few years, you can be completely sure it won't be based on Jurassic World. As far as I know, it didn't sell as well as TT's best-selling ones, and it wasn't received as well either. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't spend 3+ years on a property like that.

Oh sweet! I feel like i've just been on a rollercoaster of emotions now 🤣🤣

Well, i do hope it will be a new Jurassic game, but im not going to count on it anymore, i dont know what sales where like, except for what TheLegoBatman said, which is a shame, business is business i suppose.

On a brighter note, it is now officially confirmed that JWR will have a 'Special Extended Trailer' that will be unveiled at the superbowl, hopefully earlier.
