IDK if this would interest anyone but the head I'm going to put on Johnny Storm is the head from Jim Halpert (or Peter 3) 

I'm going to display the F4 set as a comic based set and I felt this face would fit Johnny better than a head that apparently is supposed to be Paul Rudd... I mean.. Tom Holland!

IDK what head I'm going to put on Reed yet. It DEFITNLEY won't be the cursed Resistance Trooper head that @Mandalorianknight advised me not to use haha.

Looking back through the thread trying to find the list for the Spider-verse CMF and I found some things that have aged... poorly  but I still haven't found the CMF list

Interesting that they all have something, basically confirms mid-invisibility Sue. Whoever said we might not get a single normal torso appears to be right.

I do hope we get a comic set soon with a bigfig thing.

There isn't a single non-normal torso it turns out! (Reed missing the white doesn't count.)

They didn't forget, it was just the first "tactical existence erasure" they employed. Next up it'll be- I wish we still had spoiler tags because it would help me explain more clearly how a certain group should now be written into the background to allow the Thunderbolts to be center-stage.

 

I have now seen thunderbolts three times.

I'll do you one better for Johnny, Jonesy's head from the Fortnite sets. It is literally made for a comic Johnny, and it can work for Joseph Quinn too:

Now for Reed, I was thinking of using the Han Solo head but the brown eyebrows with the Dr. Strange hair wouldn't match too well. It would be way more easier if there was a brown hairpiece with the grey streaks on the side since Reed has brown hair in the comics, but for some reason they only put them on black hairpieces.

If you don’t mind it not being 100% purist, a white paint pen can fix that problem relatively easily.

Yeah, LEGO really should make/should've made a (dark) brown hairpiece with white streaks...

Is it considered a spoiler to discuss the Thunderbolts recent branding?

I'm curious how Lego may react with potential Doomsday sets or the possibility of retroactive Thunderbolts sets.

Even though the asterisk meaning is in the marketing now I'd assume we need to wait until next Thursday to specifically say what it is.

I don't think it would change much- if Thunderbolts does well enough to earn some spoiler sets (which I unfortunately doubt- it didn't smash any records last week and as much as I love it, even with the good legs it should have, I don't think it reaches spoiler set numbers), I assume they'd still be under the official and listed name of the movie, not the asterisk meaning. In terms of doomsday sets,  I also don't think it changes anything- maybe a set name or something but if it would have any material change on builds or figures I'd assume lego had already been provided with the necessary concept art.

Speaking of the cinemabolts, here's the closest I've gotten using just parts from my own collection:

Obviously better parts exist for Red Guardian and there's a print for Bucky's arm, but I don't have those parts. As for the rest, I'm pretty happy with Bob and Yelena. (Ideally Yelena's torso and legs would be gunmetal colored as they seem to be darker than DBG but lighter than black, but I'm fine with how close they currently are). I'd like a better John but I just can't find better parts for the character, and for Ghost I think this is the best you can get for her while hooded- though I do want to grab the Invincible Iron Man helmet in unprinted white from that one advent calendar to use as she doesn't wear the hood much in the movie.

I just don't get it, there's been THREE Dr. Strange hairpieces that would also fit perfectly for Reed...and none of them come in the right color. What, will the Light Bluish Grey paint streaks get messed up on any other color besides black?

I just hope if we ever get a comic set that they finally recolor this or this in Reddish Brown for Reed.

Just watched both Brave New World and Thunderbolts*, wild that of all the characters Lego could have made this year, they used their budget on Sabra and the Miami Falcon (genuinely strange that the former showed up in a super-suit just to stand around on a boat and look at a screen)

I don't think we'll get any retroactive sets for *, but since all the members are confirmed for Doomsday and probably Secret Wars, we'll likely get them eventually.

30+ potential characters with new prints is hard to imagine considering how cheap they've been lately though. I'm expecting that the Lego Superheroes designers' favouritism towards Iron Man will mean that Doom is the only character to get leg printing.

As for now, I guess this hospital gown will have to do for Bob -

In their defense that was last year's budget due to the set delay.

Given the team’s new name (which has been made public so we can finally talk about it), I’d say now it’s a lot more likely for the Thunderbolts to show up in Doomsday sets  Too bad they won’t have the same costumes tho. Especially for US Agent, Red Guardian, and Ghost, I vastly would’ve preferred the costumes seen in Thunderbolts*. Oh well

Before June 1st. Likely sometime after May 15th.
