Maybe not as iconic, no, but she became very popular very fast, from what I remember. She's still a solid choice for a GWP.

Personally I like her better than O'Brien, and maybe Dr. Pulaski a bit, as well :innocent:

I don’t know if I’m an outlier here - but I think Ro Laren is a real fan favourite, and would probably beat all the others you suggested in any poll. Not that I’m happy with Tasha erasure, of course. She could have come with an amorphous black blob build …

I really don't think Ro is more popular in the fandom than O'Brien (who has appeared in more Star Trek episodes than any other character besides Worf, and of course, is the most important person in Starfleet ;) ). Then again, Ro is still a popular character (I always liked her, so I'm not mad at it), and the logical choice for a shuttlecraft GWP, since she's a pilot (and perhaps the designers thought O'Brien was more of a DS9 character anyway).

It would have been fun if there had been a transporter room GWP instead of the shuttlecraft; it's such an iconic piece of Star Trek tech (more iconic than that boxy shuttle imo), it would have been an opportunity to include an O'Brien minifig and it would have been a nice display set for the other TNG minifigs.

Transporter room is such a good call, would be perfect for figure display.

Yes! Transporter room is a terrific idea. Just looked on Rebrickable to see if anyone had made one already, and only something from Voyager. Might have to try it out.

I think we need a whole CMF of just Jeffrey Combs & Susie Plakson aliens to feature in it 🤣

Indeed

Transporter room sounds great! Might actually be very nice for a TOS display as well :sweet:

After seeing the leaked pics awhile back, (I hope the bottom saucer neck section is fake) it would look horrible displayed anyway but low. So you don't see underneath. It's going to take some amazing pictures after I had hoped to make this my one big set of the year!

Long term, with so many Star Trek ships available, I think doing a smaller line in Midi Scale would be amazing!

I wonder how accurate the leaked pictures are? I know a few reputable leakers confirmed the leaked pictures were authentic, but the Picard figure in the new teaser has a ton of differences from the Picard figure in the leaked pics.

No, its exactly the same minifig. His torso color might look dark red in the teaser but it will be regular red in the set.

Isn't it supposed to be cherry red, though?
Which would probably end up as dark red in LEGO...

Found 'em, thanks!

The torsos look great, if you ask me. I still believe the red should be something darker but I guess this isn't too bad :sweet:
Not sure what to think of Worf's headpiece... the coloring seems very off.
Someone said it's due to the lighting but it's all over the headpiece and nowhere on the head itself, so I have my doubts.
But surely LEGO won't screw up something like this, this bad?

Certainly seems like the lighting to me. The light source appears to be above the figure and so the face is going to be somewhat in shadow and the headpiece will be blown out. I definitely would wait for clearer pictures before being worried about that.

I'm so impatient :innocent:

Tell me about it! I have one large Lego purchase budgeted this year and I have been basically waiting all year to see the final design before I make my decision. Best case scenario, I probably still have at least a month to wait.

I am not so sure. Not everything what Lego makes, is golden. The white printing on the soldiers of the Eldorado Fortress remake is bad while the white printing on the new horse Knights is fantastic.

I saw the pictures of Worf and I have the exact thought : the specialized headpiece color is not matching the minifig's skin color. Maybe it is lighting.

Guess we'll just have to wait and see. Not that promo pics tend to make things look better than they are...
Wow, I'm becoming cynical and I'm not even 40

I'm not worried about Worf's head piece color (yet) based on what I've seen. I'm more concerned about the final build and especially the price. I don't remember a confirmed price being announced, but I am concerned it's going to be out of my comfort zone.

So when is info for this set, supposed to warp in?

Depends on what kind of info you mean  We’ve known the price, piece count, minifig list, GWP, and release date since like February. The set itself has leaked months ago and minifig leaks have begun as well. The only info missing is the official product description and high-res images, which I expect in late October or early November.
