zinnn Posted May 1 Posted May 1 The final product, mainly colours, look so much better than the original photos! I'm not buying it, but damn, it's a nice set! Quote

Governor Mister Phes Posted May 2 Governor Posted May 2 New Imperial faction - green coats with their very own flag! Quote
GeoBrick Posted May 2 Posted May 2 Well, its the hotel uniform from the modular building section, and the flag is most likely a sticker. Quote

Yperio_Bricks Posted May 2 Posted May 2 Which color changes are there? The colors of the houses basically stayed the same. It's just that the original renders did the set no favor imo. Quote

I have wished so much that I could get a green coat faction in the original print style of the Bluecoats and Redcoats. Maybe with white epaulettes for the troops, and the yellow for the officers. His MOCs are incredible! Still gush over the black pearl every time I see it on my shelf. This set is a dream come true. Second most wanted set this year after the black pearl. Quote

You're not alone! Many fans wanted that design in green and a variety of other colours. @evancelt's Rocky Mountain Minifigures offers a third-party solution to that makret shortage. Quote

Elephant Knight Posted June 10 Posted June 10 I didnt think I was going to buy, it felt rather pricey, but then I got a thinking, and realized this would be very handy to have for my comic, A Pirates Life. So I checked around 11 (it opened at 9 AM my time) and there were still some to be had. So I bought it. We'll see if I fell it was worth the money, but cant go wrong with 4002 pieces. Right? zinnn Posted June 10 Posted June 10 Now I'm jealous for everyone who got it, it looks wonderful. But ultimately the price tag + lack of space decided against it :( Quote
LegoDW Posted June 10 Posted June 10 Hello everyone. This was my first Designer Program purchase. Figured I would be sorry if I missed it so purchased, it is expensive. So at 11:06 AM (EST) was able to purchase and was already fully funded, per bar under picture looked like 7K pruchases .(looked a little over 20% full and 30K was the max of the range per TLG). At 11 AM EST checked and bar looked about 80% full. Just checked this evening at 6 PM EST and the bar looks like it has been reduced to say 60%. Noticed a similar issue with the Transivaina set also. Do you think TLG added more sets to be sold (say 50K instead of 30K) and that is what adjusted the bar. I was very impressed at 11 AM EST as looked like both sets would be sold out first day, TLG knows how to market their products and gauge fairly accurualy demand. Maybe was just something with their website (counted sets in people carts, etc. vs actual purchased). Anyways glad I purchased and possible more are avialable for others. Now have to wait forever till it ships. Quote

RenLUG - Central Florida Posted June 11 Posted June 11 Several of our members noticed the same thing. I think they started with 30k limit on the search bar and part way through the day changed it to match the increased amount they plan to produce which changed the bar graph results. FB group LEGO® of Paying Full Price (Public USA LEGO® Deals Group) has the info to see the max available. Those numbers earlier today were: Adventure in Transylvania 50k units Antique Shop 30k units Mushroom Village 30k units Popcorn Wagon 30k units The Thieves of Tortuga 40k units It's possible Bricklink could adjust those numbers higher, if its dynamic based on sales volume over time.
