Really surprised they're this close without being full reproductions, expected something more like the Legacy masks. These look great. Wonder if all the anniversay sets will use these designs

The fact that we're getting all of them in a single set us genuinely incredible, and I've never wanted to see a set more than this.

The mask does look a little odd. I'm wondering if the head crest is larger because it's now dual-molded instead of painted on, but I feel like Lego have done dual-molded elements with finer details in the past.

Been a while since ive dusted off this account and hopped on Eurobricks. The new Life dragon looks very interesting. Seeing plenty of complaints about the wings which are not justified, theyre in a half open pose right now which makes them look very spindly and weird.

Kind of strange how that one vine themed monster that leaked a while back isn't included in this set due to similar theming, guess we'll have to wait till summer for that thing to show up

I really like the look of the life dragon and I really like the new leaf piece. I'm not at all bothered by the wings. It looks like it has a fun and useful gimmick and I'm not generally bothered by exposed technic as a Bionicle fan.

The life dargon(or Arc dragon of the whispering wood as it is called in that text on top) looks very odd to me. There's just too much different details going on there, especially the back legs being almost all gray and rock themed, while there is only little bits of that on the wings and tail. But we only have this image so far, so maybe with more angles of the build my opinion could change. Either way from this wave I'm most likely going to just get Jay's car and Cole's Mission mech. Which combined just like this set have 2 dragon ninja, 3 regular ninja, and the same 3 villains for like $20 cheaper. 

Sora is in her previous suit, but at least it's not 1:1, as now she has a half mask and a golden shoulder armor. Arin is all new, there isn't really a great look at him, so I can't really judge this design now. I only predict that this Arin would definitely be reused in the summer wave.

It's probably going to be in the Riyu set and in one of the spinners.

I like the look of the Dragon of Life, although I wish it was a source dragon. As this is the largest set from the winter wave, I doubt we’ll also see a large dragon in summer 2026. That means at minimum there’d be a 3 year gap in source dragons. I’m guessing LEGO isn’t interested in making the rest, or the first one underperformed. It was recently on sale in the US…

With the dragon’s hind legs being the color and texture of rock, I wonder if the dragon can strike a pose disguising it as a tree. That would explain the somewhat awkward wing position shown in this image. Otherwise it’s an odd coloring choice. I’ll have to wait and see how it looks in official images. 

I’m not super convinced by the new dragon forms for the ninja. Maybe it’s the dominance of the secondary colors, I’m not sure. The throwback ZX suits on the other hand are promising - especially with a fun new take on the 2012 hoods.

Hold on, is the set actually called 'The Dragon of Life'? If so it seems strange that it's some Arc Dragon with seemingly elemental nature powers and not the Source Dragon of Life.

I guess this 'Dragon of Life' is both an Arc Dragon and the avatar of the Source Dragon of Life. Basically the same case as the Arc Dragon of Focus.

Looks like the first set reveal for this wave is a Legacy polybag! Not necessarily what I was hoping for, but maybe the others will follow soon.

The Cole remake looks fine, although they appear to have decided to make all of the ninja's ZX armour gold instead of letting some have silver (unless the main sets will have the colour variance and they decided to make a black hood with a gold ZX crest exclusively for this set, which seems unlikely). The mask honestly looks even worse from these new pics, with the cloth parts being too chunky and smooth, and the crest being far too big (and seemingly wrapping around the back like a headband instead of just being a crest on the forehead).

I love the poly bag is a remake of the specific 2012 one instead of being a random new vehicle, kinda funny it got a remake before the Tread Assault

I honestly don’t mind the new mask, I think it’s an interesting take on the ZX ones without feeling too similar. But I’m not a fan of all 5 (6?) ninja having gold accents. Gold is overdone and really doesn’t look as good on Jay and Lloyd. I want to see the theme branch out more into silver or another metallic color. 
 

I do wonder what version(s) of Nya we’ll see. I’d imagine we’ll get a Samurai X remake in the anniversary display set. But in the blacksmith, maybe 2011 Nya? I could also see them just reusing the S1 suits or even just DR ones. My personal pick would be a reimagined ZX ninja suit for Nya, but that seems very unlikely.

That's my feeling on the masks too, they're nice but I don't see why everyone has to be gold. As far as Nya is concerned, I'm guessing she'll be Samurai X since that was her design for the 2012 wave? But I guess if it's based more on the show then there's an argument to be made that her 2011 design makes more sense.

I actually hate that they changed the silver ZX armour to gold. What's the point of an accurate remake if only half the Ninja will be accurate, while the other two won't? 

Also, not really a fan of how the crown wraps around the whole mask. I thought it'd be longer than the previous one, but not as long as this.

If I were to guess they wanted Lloyd gold and it'd be weird if only two were silver. It's a shame as it would have been a great opportunity for a Jay ZX figure with a metallic print, suppose the arm will be gold to match

It'll be a shame if they do that, when I was younger I always thought his armor being titanium was so cool. It really makes that design feel distinct even all these years later.
