It does indeed look great however it being static is the dealbreaker for me.

I would've overlooked the smaller size and the smaller number of minifigures compared to 71822 for the same price but the fact that I cannot use/pose it like a regular dragon means less value for me.

It seems strange that they wouldn’t prioritize adding joints that actually work. I’d assume most older Ninjago fans are used to having fully functional dragons that still look great on display. Why buy this and not last year’s source dragon?

I think it looks great obviously (although the head feels too small) but it’s hard to get excited about such a static model. I’ll wait to see reviews before making a final call.

Wow that looks incredible. Not sure if/when I'll be able to get it since this will be an expensive year (considering the Switch 2, other Legos I'm interested in, and the fact that I don't have a full-time job), but I definitely am keen to pick it up at some point. It would be awesome if it had more articulation but  it's not a huge issue for me, most of my Legos are just for display at the moment and I like the pose as is.

All of the other 2nd parts of DR seasons also leaked early, but this is just feels like too much even for that. I absolutely loved the new episodes, but the fact that they leaked early just isn't great at all for the team behind the show. So with that it's best to just keep the episodes for yourself, and wait for the official reveal to post some thoughts on it.

One thing that I can say is that this gave us our first look at Arin's mech, that's especially funny now, as we just got some images of this set(as well as the temple bounty and Lloyd's jet mech) reveald by some random retailer.

Overall the mech looks great, I especially like the asymmetry with the arms(just like his minifigure). I also adore how it mirrors the Sora mech a bit, with the wings on the arms and Arin with hair and a half mask. The minifigures here aren't interesting to me at all. So while the mech here is neat, I'd rather save my money for some other sets.

We've already seen images of the other 2 sets, so there isn't really too much to say about them. Except for Tyr, who from the leaks was said to have a unique design from the other dragonians, but except for the mask and armor(and both of these pieces apper in other sets) he is the same as the Dragonian featured in the Combat Vehicle and Kai's bike.

The show might also gave us our first look at the $10 Kai bike. It wasn't Kai who drove it, but it features some actual lego parts on the sides. So with that the bike is going to be in the same style of build as for example the one in The Crocodile Car from Dreamzzz. and that size is perfect, as we are also said to get a bike for a Dragonian there too.

The Kai's Motorcycle set has also leaked, and it's actually awesome? Really surprised how well the motorcycles look. For 10€ it's a must-buy I fear.

Arin's Mech is cool, nothing more to say about it though.

Really impressed with Ninjago summer wave(prices are pretty bad though).
 

Kai bike for 10$ is a steal and easy way to get new Kai.

 

Ninja vehicle looks surprisingly good as a build, and all the figures are great here. The only problem is Frak’s head since lego for whatever reason decided to give him ninja hood instead of snake head. But the 90$ price is pretty bad especially since Ninjago has always been one of the best priced themes for years.

 

Arin’s mech looks good and a gives a cheap way to get his hairpiece.

 

Lloyd’s jet mech is genuinely impressive set and minifig selection is a really good here. Must buy for sure.

 

New Bounty is probably the best version of the ship besides Movie version but minifig selection could be better for that price. Including another member of Forbidden Five here like Rox or Kur would make the set an easy buy day one for me.

 

Also since part 2 of season 3 leaked I really hope we get that new look for Lord Ras next year. That probably the best any Ninjago villain ever looked!

Kai's Motorcycle feels perfect for it's price, and that makes it an offer that I just can't refuse. However the Kai motorcycle is very similar to the one in the Legacy X1 Ninja Charger, which I have, but still there's also the bike for the Dragonian, so it's still a must have no matter what.

With that there's only the polybag left to be revealed for this wave.

The Kai motorcycle set looks nice... nothing too special from a longtime collector's standpoint so I probably won't get it myself, but it does seem like a good value.

It's frustrating that Frak is exclusive to the combat vehicle, and that we're probably not going to get his head without a hood or his s3p1 outfit, but the Kai motorcycle set is great. Interesting that the dragonian in that set has the regular sized horns when all of the spectral ones in other sets have the larger ones (I think).

If you look closely at the Cole minifig for the season 3 part 2 sets in the summer, you can clearly see that his spectral ghost head has returned. Maybe Thunderfang steals his soul too??

I thought this for a second too, but that just seems to be a strange error in just the minifig lineup sections of the temple bounty and combat vehicle boxes. In every other image (the actual box arts for the two sets and the renders), it looks like he just has his usual yellow head unfortunately.

The next Legacy magazine will include Tournament Cole and Drix.

Cole isn't really interesting here, as he comes in a polybag, and also he has the wrong half mask here.  Drix on the other hand seems quite exciting, maybe not Drix himself as he is by far the easiest F5 member to get. But this could mean that we might get the other members in the leagacy magazine too. It's also nice that it's a full version of him, as the legacy magazine recently has been skipping all armor pieces.

I love it when motorcycle builds aren’t ridiculously oversized and actually scale well with minifigures -  the Kai set looks awesome.

Can’t wait to see more angles of the Bounty, I want to love it (especially with this being the largest and most detailed Bounty so far), but the one angle we’ve seen coupled with the orientation of the sails makes it look way more two-dimensional than it actually is.

Lloyd’s Jet Mech is brilliant and the transformation from earlier leaks looked really impressive. The posability also seems quite good!

I think we'll find out more about what legends actually is soon. Because the official reveals of the summer sees has stated now and I imagine they'd have given some context alongside the pictures, at very least the set descriptions, when it's the truly official reveal.
