There's also going to be a polybag with Arin and a Dragonian.

Sorry if this is a dumb quesiton but is Ninjago City Workshop like Market, Garden, and Dock? Before you say something rude, I’m blind and i simply ask for info.

Yeah, it's just the next one in the series they have going of modular city sets. It's definitely quite small in comparison to the others, being objectively the smallest one so far, but they made it fit in with the others well enough I think.

Rontu was leaked but it may have been faked

She isn't showing up in usual places for me, but we'll see the sets soon enough anyway I suppose.

This is the one, I had to crop it a little for it to show but this was leaked about a month ago

I saw this image before, and it's fake. The head is from 71754 Water dragon, while the body is just the source dragon of motion.

Rontu has to be one of the worst dragons from this theme in my opinion, from the shape she looks nothing like she was in the show. Even if I'd judge her as just a dragon, then still the build here is very blocky and clunky.

Rogue's mech dragon - it's a very unique dragon, and especially a unique lightning dragon with all the white and gray, and I adore this fact about it. It reminds me of that concept art for Cole's 2016 dragon. only the price here isn't the best, especially with just 4 minifigures, but if it were $60 I wouldn't have a problem with it.  With this being the only set to get Rox I really hoped that this set would be great, and I'd say that it's not perfect, but I'm satisfied with it.

Speaking of Rox, I didn't expect for her to use the mid legs, but these do make her standout from the other Forbidden 5. Also I thought that they didn't include the cape on Nokt, because Rox would have it, but that is just not the case here, and thats a bit weird.

The combat vehicle - I had low expectation for this, but now I'd say that this set looks great. Maybe except the price, but at least it's using some large wheel parts to justify it a bit, but still this shouldn't have been more then $80(and that dosn't even feel that great) I like how compact this vehicle is, as well the consistant color scheme, that makes the combined form not look like it can split. Frak has a new head piece, which also features a green hood.

Drix and Rogue cars -  For a  4+ set this isn't too bad, the best part here is Nya, since the only other set she comes in this wave is $200. Rogue also gets an exclusive hood piece here. So at $20 just for the minifgures and that Blade piece this feels fine.

Also the Spectral Dragonians use transparent legs and arms. I loved that on the Vengestone Warriors, and I love it here.

These sets are pretty wacky.

Rontu, as a set, looks pretty good to me, but it doesn't do a great job of looking like the show. The mech dragon is not really what I expected, it's like a mini version of Jiro from season 1. It doesn't even look much like a mech, other than the jet boosters on the wings. The color scheme is also very weird with all the light grey and white. The mech is cool, but I'm not convinced by all the bright blue it uses. The combat vehicle is what I expected, overpriced but not terrible.

The minifigs are strange. The spectral dragonians have too many colors, and the color blocking is also weird. Why is the armor dark blue? Why the gunmetal helmets? The red is so out of place, but I guess they wanted to tie in the reveal blade feature into the general color scheme. The ninja are cool though, and the reveal blade is an awesome new mold. I'm a little confused about the Rox minifig, because in the individual picture, her arms and hat look reddish brown, but in the picture of the Rogue mech dragon the arms and hat look dark brown. Which one is it? Or am I seeing things?

The last combo car was being sold for $60 from retailers in eBay, I even heard someone got it for $20. My point is, if you wait long enough you can get some sort of deal and if you just want the frak minifigure he might appear in a small set in 2026 just like wyldfire!

I try not to judge based on imperfect pictures but Rontu is a little rougher than I expected. Looks like she's only a small step above 4+ in terms of complexity ( and I understand that for TLG's perspective since they do a different range of complexities across the Ninjago line, but TBH a named character dragon deserved a more complex set). Mech rider dragon also looks a little underwhelming but a better picture could probably help it more that with Rontu who seems to be made of a lot of EVO parts. Combo vehicle type set looks better than I was expecting. TBH looks like that last leak had the more interesting sets ( though also the more expensive ones, sad how that works out).

Very interested to see a better picture of Frak. New suits look good, Sora is lacking the printing for her prosthetic arm but I guess that just means the sleeve goes over it. Hopefully this isn't the only time we see this shoulder/half mask part.

I don't love Rontu, which is annoying since I was planning on buying her to get Zarkt, which is now even harder to justify considering Lloyd and Sora both come in the Jet Mech that has the exclusive Kur, and Wyldfyre is obviously not new (breaking the Sora/Arin/Wyldfyre trend of 1 new figure per year??), and I feel like they definitely could have done better with the head as the top part seems to be a new piece, so why the brick built bottom jaw??

I do like the new transparent energy pieces seen on Rontu and Rogue's mech dragon though.

Maybe they're going to use the new head piece from Rontu to make the next Riyu in 2026, as it looks a bit like him and would enable a moving jaw unlike the current one.

Also, are we not getting a big temple/location playset at all for dragons rising season 3? À la the fire temple, garmadon's dark fortress, temple of light, battle for ninjago city, enter the serpent, city of stiix, dragon's forge, temple of resurrection, dragon pit, monastery of spinjitzu, castle of the forsaken emperor, temple of madness, skull sorcerer's dungeons, keepers' village, temple of the endless sea, crystal king temple, ninja dojo temple, temple of the dragon energy cores, and the wolf mask shadow dojo? Would be a pretty crazy trend to break, especially considering how many sets we're getting for each season with only 1 per year for dragons rising, and how little we've been getting other than ninja vehicles and dragons for the last while already (no villain vehicles or anything, so at least a substantial location set would be good).

I guess not they were probably making room for the legends sets which may introduce new locations

I am frankly quite mixed on those sets, which rarely happens with Ninjago.

The 4+ set is, well... a 4+ set. The January one was so much nicer, although it's understandable since it was a location rather than a car race. Still, I wonder what's with Jay here—he doesn't have his Rogue suit one. Did they give him a new print just for this set?

Rontu is a good set, but frankly a poor depiction of her appearance in the series. The wings are too big, the horns are too small, the neck is too short. The shrine is ridiculously small. Still, the minifigure selection is awesome—I always get a set with Sora in every wave, and I am so glad she has a new suit. Zarkt and Lloyd are awesome too, and I am glad Wyldfyre is appearing in more sets (even though I just got this variant of her in Zane's mech).

Jay's dragon and mech is kind of messy because of too many colours, but I admire the concept. The dragon by itself is fantastic—rarely do we get white ones; the yellow and dark blue details really make it work. The minifigures are good too, but for that price I'd expect more. Never noticed that Rox has mid legs.

The Combat Vehicle is really nice, but because of its colour scheme it looks like just another Kai vehicle. Really wish they've chosen a different one. Good minifigures—Frak is definitely the big draw of this set.

Now there's two more things I need to mention—the first are the prices. All of those sets are overpriced, which rarely is the case with Ninjago. Especially if we look at the piece count, it doesn't even compare to sets from the past year and before.

The other are the Spectral Dragonians—they look absolutely awful. I don't remember a villain faction in Ninjago looking this bad and messy, maybe ever. The colour scheme is hideous—mint blue, trans-blue, dark blue, red, gunmetal grey. What a disaster; two colours too many.

I think his torso (and so probably legs too) are the same as the Rogue figure, but he definitely has a new/exclusive hood piece. They've avoided putting half masks in 4+ sets before so that's probably why, but at least it's a new hood I guess, lol.

My biggest issue is all the bright blue on the mech. I thought it was because of the mech cockpit piece, but it was used in dark blue for the Thanos mech in 2023 so I'm not convinced it wasn't available. I'm tempted to switch the cockpit to dark blue and the evo limbs to dark grey to see if it works better. The other blue pieces should be easy to switch, so it's really just about those 2 parts.

As silly as it sounds, I feel like the red horns really push it over the edge for me. I don't mind the hands and the belt, but the horns just makes it look jumbled. I also wonder how they would have looked with silver armor, a white helmet, and white wings/mini dragon. I think they would have looked much better than they do currently

Not too surprising/interesting on its own, but it's cool to know there's some information already out there. I wonder if next year is still going to be Dragons Rising or if they're going to move on to a different story arc.
