2025 Castle [wishlist/speculation]

Disappointing about horse being brick built, as well as bright yellow bricks. Number of minifigs is amazing. Can't wait for the release of this set.

The horses beeing brickbuilt was discussed here before and was expected since it is the creator theme - for the bright yellow bricks, I would expect the castle walls to be grey and just some buildings on top of it to be actually yellow similar to the last creator castle.

Indeed, it is just a small part of the build that is yellow, specifically the circled bit here.

Six figures, and importantly, three new torsos (hopefully, at least) is great. Horses are available from Pick a Brick, albeit expensive, so it's possible to expand this nicely.

I'm very surprised if a 3in1 set would get no less then six minifigs. That would be very generous.

Brick build birds, dragon, BUT frog was mold. 2 Black Falcons, Blacksmith and skeleton prisoner. 1 shield. and so on... very nice to see TLG puts effort to Castle.

Probably only 2 as the civilian will be a reuse of an existing torso.  

Set sound great can't wait to see the build and the figs especially the color scheme for the for the Horse Knights.  Will definitely be buying multiple of this set.

Horses yes. But can you get saddles from PAB?

Yes you can.  Actually I don't see it on there anymore but they used to be.  the bardings are still up there though.

Not anymore. You can buy the bardings, which would look strange when another knight uses the crest of another faction. But the actual saddle retired end of last year.

Yeah, but sadly those will be gone by end of the year too, together with all the civilian prints. Just reminds me that I still have to get some of those, this year won´t be exactly a cheap one either.

Yeah I need to pick up some more bardings and Knights before those go away.  Hoping to get some wolfpack soon too so far everytime I go to make an order they are sold out.

I was wondering. I was just on PAB to get horses for my paladins, and couldn't find saddles. Ended up getting saddles at my local bricks and minifgis store.

Wow, we're getting four new factions??? Horse, and Snake with the Creator set; and Griffin, and Kraken with the gumboil Ideas set!

Yeah just image the builds in the BDP coming over the next year.  It will be great to add some more variety to my castle world.

The previous creator castle had dark yellow / orange yellow, not skin yellow

Yes!!!

But also the minifig creations and possibilities!!! 

Come to think of it, the Frightening Knight/ Bear faction (CMF Series 15), and Tournament Knight/ Raven faction (CMF Series 20) both did not get follow up minifigs or PAB equivalents.

Pity about the actual horses though...

The horse faction can be used to create a Rohirim like faction.

And the black snake can be used for  Edmund Blackadder, bastard son of King Richard. Blackadder tries to take over the throne with the help of his friends, Lord Percy and the peasant Baldrick who always has a 'cunning plan'. 

What a great series this was from the eighties. Rowan Atkinson played Blackadder before he played Mr Bean. Any one remembers this fantastic series? It was filmed on location Alnwick Castle in Northumbria.

Blackadder is a fantastic series. I like it very much. I even bought a DVD box with all seasons recently. When I was 9 or 10 I built the Blackadder castle and the characters from my Castle bricks and minifigs. I watched Blackadder for the first time as a rerun in the mid 90s.

6 is very generous with a Creator set, has that even happed before? If one is included here it will not retire this year 2 new torsos and maybe a shield or two is already pushing it, Lego has understood now that they must include something new for a lot of Castle fans to pull the trigger. Personally I had no interest in buying the last Creator set even if I liked it, I will wait and see pictures of this one before I decide (however most likely will buy the parts of pab)
