Ordered two, not sure to display them front/back or perhaps build a B unit. I may have missed it, is there a link or location to the B unit instructions?

Yes, they started hiding that info 2 or 3 series ago. Fortunately, they didn't hide it very well - they stopped showing it on the page, but didn't actually remove the data from the page's source code.

Set#  Name                       Preorders  Current Max       %  Funded
  -------------------------------------------------------------------------
  910064  Dustmark Keep                 10,966  30,000   36.6%  yes
  910065  Coconut Cape                   7,481  30,000   24.9%  yes
  910068  University of Science          7,014  30,000   23.4%  yes
  910066  Brick Railroad Locomotive      6,822  30,000   22.7%  yes
  910067  Hot Air Balloon                5,984  30,000   19.9%  yes

Interesting, so I guess I forgot they upped the max number of sets.  Didn't it used to be 3,000 or something like that?  Still not sure I'm even going to get one.

Just in case anyone was wondering.

I was - did Google it of course. But the additional information you provided, are really helpful (for me - I know - most if not all people here knew all that. I did not)!

Thank you very much!!!

I believe the designer said on his IG those go live after the closure of pre-order.

Yeah, but did they not upscale that after many people complained the scalpers took all in the first hour and that second hand pricing was crazy.

3,000 was always the MINIMUM required for a set to go into production, but the MAXIMUM number for the early sets was 10,000, which they upped to 30,000. From Series 3 or 4 onwards (I can't remember which), they start off with a max of 30,000, and up the number if it gets popular. For example some Series 6 sets were upped to 50,000. But 3,000 remains the minimum preorders for sets to go into production - if they don't hit that, then they're never made.

Looking at one of the reviews on YouTube, one of the things I really like is the sticker sheet. Four sets of numbers are included, so you can have four uniquely numbered locomotives. Also four of the Lego Train logos are included in blue, even though the A unit only requires two. This means if you're building a B unit, then you have enough stickers for 2 on each end. This was thoughtful on Lego's (and the designers) part.

Designer stated the instructions for the B Unit would be released when the set is released. There are stickers for the B Unit with the main set.

I think the B Unit uses about 200 extra pieces on top of the set and the best way was to buy an extra set to make it as that would also support him.
