I’m sure hoping that DaveBricks wasn’t lying about the June Battlepack. It’s tricky as his info was a mixed bag of real and fake by the looks of it. It ends up hurting more than completely fake batches of information.

Makes sense, it doesn’t have any special design on the side like Boba’s. Hopefully the higher price is due to drum lacquered silver

That is odd wording on the part of Krennic’s entry; the Department of Advanced Weapons Research is a branch of Imperial Intelligence, but they cooperate with the ISB to keep classified intel safe (such as in the Citadel on Scarif, an ISB facility).

Grand Moffs are governors, so “civilian” government > military. 

To use the United States as a framework for understanding the Imperial structure, consider Moffs/Grand Moffs to be state governors/POTUS, the ISB to be the FBI+CIA, and the military to be the military. Both state governors and the CIA can (to a degree) command military forces, but they are not part of the military command structure. Also, U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff == Imperial Joint Chiefs; high-ranking officers from each branch who work alongside intel agencies and answer to civilian government.

Any idea on whether or not Plo Koon’s starfighter was legit?  I saw some people say Landino confirmed, but it was also lumped in with all of the other BS that people were posting.

Still holding out hope that a certain…canine…clone commander will be made, and that seems to be the set where he’d make sense.

Agreed! Also, if we get Wolffe in the JSF, we might get a Wolfpack battle pack as well!

Mandr is claiming that the U-Wing minifigs are: Cassian, K2SO, Dedra Meero and 2 stormtroopers. Is that true?

Do we know how many Minifigs there will be? Plo is obviously one, along with either R4-F5 or R7-D4 (depending on whether the JSF is a Delta-7 or Delta-7B).

At least in some visual guide (don't remember which one, but probably Legends) it reads that ISB's primary duty is to surveil and punish rogue Imperials (sort of thing Mara Jade does in Legends), and COMPNOR (Commission for the preservation of the new order) does the same but on citizens, not officials.

I just have one question—is the U-Wing real, and does it actually include 5 minfigs, one of them being Dedra Meero?

If that is the case, I will be the happiest person alive. Not only would it be an Andor S2 set (perfect to go along with my Andor S1 set), but also Dedra Meero? I could die a happy man.

U-Wing is definitely real. But the fig-list from Mandr turned out to be fake. 
Cassian is the only safe bet for an inclusion imo.

 

It looks like everything but the F1 update from Davebricks turned out to be true.

No; ISB is a subdivision of COMPNOR. 
The ISB surveils everyone - They have different branches (Enforcement, Internal Affairs, etc) that handle military vs. civilians, however. COMPNOR is a broader initiative that ensures loyalty to the Empire via information control, propaganda, youth conditioning, etc, and the ISB is just one arm of the organisation. 
Mara Jade was the Emperor's Hand, not COMPNOR/ISB nor Imperial military; the closest Canon analogue to her would be the Inquisitors.

While I am very glad to be getting Night Troopers (hopefully at least two different designs!) and Enoch, the battle pack should have included a Night Death Trooper in place of Enoch; as it is, I will probably only pick up one or two (and maybe BrickLink a couple more Night Troopers).

I am expecting two different designs, since battle packs usually follow the 2/1/1 or 3/1 format - 3/1 makes the Night Troopers look too uniform (and we already have one version already), so 2/1/1 with two of the new design, one of the Peridea set design, and Enoch would be my guess. A 1/1/1/1 breakdown, or a 2/1/1 with two new Night Trooper designs would be excellent, but unfortunately does not seem realistic. 
I could see a sort of 1/1/1/1 lineup, if one of the Night Troopers uses a combination of existing (Peridea) and new pieces - Maybe one entirely new, one reused Peridea-style, and one hybrid with parts from both?

I haven't heard anything about it from any of Brick Tap's sources personally. (I have heard a lot of murmurs about it, but not enough to post about).

Could be real, could be fake. If I hear anything more I'll post it to Brick Tap and /r/legoleak

After all the recent shenanigans, I‘m only gonna believe that once a seasoned leaker confirms it  Sounds excellent, if true! Big „if“.

Also glad to hear Mandr‘s figure list for the U-Wing is fake. That would have been the most boring selection they could‘ve made  Granted, Cassian and K2 are pretty much guaranteed and Dedra is very likely too, but I surely hope for something better than two regular Stormies.
