nicknack116 Posted January 28 Posted January 28 (edited) Could “P” be Portal? Since we had the LEGO Dimensions pack, it would technically be returning. And a one-off set would make sense for Portal. Edit: Also makes sense Shrek was known early since the new movie was delayed. They probably started the licensing/set design/etc much earlier compared to the movie’s release now. The main issue is that Portal isn’t overly relevant right now… It’s been 10 years since Dimensions and there hasn’t been a new game since. And calling any Dimensions-only license a “returning theme” is a bit of a stretch Edited January 28 by BrickBob Studpants Quote

Atari was the only other thought I had… Yeah, there aren’t too many options overall! Maybe Stonewars used “Gaming” as a generic placeholder because of the set number. Or Lollipop isn’t KPDH at all and that theme instead gets a completely different number, leaving it for the returning theme! Fingers crossed the identities of those two themes will also be revealed soon, but I’m already very satisfied with Shrek getting both sets and a CMF series ^^ Quote

(Obviously not- I assume, maybe there's a new game coming or something, but it's funny how well that lines up) As I've said here before I've been lucky to get almost every IP I love in lego form- even Dune somehow. (At least, all of them that can get sets- I understand we'll never get Lego JJK or Invincible and respect that). The one thing I really want that we don't yet have is for Transformers to escape Icons and become a full theme. Quote

I’ll continue huffing the hopium for a Last Airbender set. Heck, a single ~£70+ set of Appa with the GAang (along with Zuko and Iroh) would make me really happy. I’m in the same boat as you though, most of my favourite IPs are now represented in Lego. Avatar is the only thing missing for me. Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted January 29 Posted January 29 (edited) Out of the franchises that actually have a chance of getting a LEGO theme, I can only point to a small handful that I really want In terms of TV shows, I would like to see the return of SpongeBob. Nuff said. Avatar TLA (be it the cartoon or the LA Netflix show) would also be more than welcome, and the same goes for Gravity Falls. The Mystery Shack, Appa, and the Krusty Krab are probably the three projects that reached 10k votes the most times on Ideas I forgot the tally, but all of them made it at least 5 times I think, some probably closer to 10 As for movies, Shrek was one of the few major kid-friendly franchises that wasn’t covered yet. I can’t even really think of anything else here, besides other Dreamworks and Disney movies! Video games, now here I have more IPs I want to see! Kirby, Splatoon, Metroid, Spyro, Crash, Layton, and Ace Attorney are all firmly on that wishlist! Doubtful any of them ever get made, but we used to say the same thing about Mario, Zelda, and Animal Crossing. Edited January 29 by BrickBob Studpants Quote
Renny The Spaceman Posted January 29 Posted January 29 (edited) My dream theme is The Nutshack. I know that'll be coming in the next five years Edited January 29 by Renny The Spaceman Quote

I’m in the same boat as you though, most of my favourite IPs are now represented in Lego. Avatar is the only thing missing for me. I've never been into the games, but they seem enjoyable. I am surprised they cancelled Sands of Time with how well-known of a franchise it is. A last airbender set would be pretty cool. I know Avatar notoriously struggles with spinoffs and adaptions, but they at least keep the IP in the public consciousness, and the combination of that and how beloved the OG show is would definitely let an Appa set sell well. I had failed to consider video games- I would love some Smash Bros content, though it's sort of an amalgam of other IPs, many of which have started to show up in lego form (though somehow only Zelda at figure scale). I'm not huge into video games, but many of my favorites are part of IPs we have sets for and yet little to no coverage for the game itself, which I guess is part of more what I think about with dream themes at this point- dream subthemes. Jedi: Fallen Order/Survivor: We got one statue and a minifigure in an unrelated set, but between the Stinger Mantis ship, tombs and other iconic locations, and all the giant creatures, it would make an awesome subtheme. Not to mention all Cal's ponchos where you could get unique, desirable minifigures just by swapping out the pattern on a piece of cloth. Marvel Rivals: PLEASE, lego, you give me Rivals waves and I'd never ask for anything again. This is the only game I've played multiplayer on in years. It's got some of the best designs most of these heroes have ever had, and it has so much set material between the convoy vehicles and some of the more iconic locations. It even has a prime option for the buildable characters lego loves with Jeff the Land Shark. You could fill endless CMFs with all the characters and skins, and sets at varying price points with all the vehicles and temples. You've even got a giant mech with the Vampbuster suit. Moon Knight: The two MCU minifigures we've had- much like the show itself- aren't bad, but really aren't who Moon Knight is in the comics. MK himself would be great for sets, as in the modern era he consistently runs with two outfits simultaneously, has a fun group of supporting characters (Former avenger Tigra, vampire receptionist Reece, essentially his own henchman/goon in Soldier, his spiritual brother Hunter's Moon, and so-bad-at-being-a-villain-he-gave-up-and-joined-the-good-guys 8-ball), and unlike many marvel heroes, he actually owns stylized cars, jets, and planes. And not even just sci-fi VTOLs like his newer mooncopters- MK used to run with a stock white helicopter called the Mooncopter, and as recently as a few years ago drove the Moonmobile, which would fit right in at that $25-35 superhero car set slot. The Justice League: There's this little known group from a small indie company called Detective Comics. Lego technically owns this license for their small Batman line, and so the door is open to making sets based on these really obscure but fun heroes like "Wonder Woman", "The Flash", or "Green Lantern". zoth33 Posted January 30 Posted January 30 I would love to see some Castlevania sets. We could get some great locations and figs out of that license. Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Yu-Gi-Oh! will get a set! Allegedly, there will be an Ideas contest soon, with the winning entry getting made into a set! Quote

BrickBob Studpants Posted January 31 Posted January 31 (edited) According to brickmerge, 72537 is the previously rumoured Olivia Rodrigo set, so the identity of „Lollipop“ has now been revealed too! …which means KPDH is indeed still missing among the set numbers we currently know of Turns out you were right, @Accio Lego Edited January 31 by BrickBob Studpants Quote
Murdoch17 Posted February 1 Posted February 1 There's a Brickset article about the TMNT Brickheadz being revealed! (I wasn't sure where to post this, sorry if in wrong place...) Quote

There is a BrickHeadz thread, but it’s pretty much abandoned, so I’d say it’s fair to post here! I really appreciate the Turtles all having different shades of green to differentiate them more! I also like that they’re not based on any specific iteration, yet capture the essence of each of them Quote

I never was into anime stuff beyond (classic!) Speed Racer, and collecting trading card games was never my shtick. Heck, I was right in the target demographic for all three of these shows when they were relatively new, and I found them totally odd. But don't listen to me: I was one of the like three kids on Earth who liked the Galidor TV show! (Hey LEGO, when we getting a revival of that theme? ) Edited February 1 by Murdoch17 Quote

Gizmo and Stripe? Quote
jonwil Posted Tuesday at 06:48 AM Posted Tuesday at 06:48 AM Matell owns Thomas the Tank Engine 100% these days so we will not see it in LEGO ever again. Yu-Gi-Oh sounds like it could be interesting depending on what we get. Buildable Blue-Eyes? Not interested. Something with actual minifigs, that could be interesting. Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted Tuesday at 06:20 PM Posted Tuesday at 06:20 PM (edited) Huh, „Lollipop“ is KPDH after all? Brickmerge claimed 72537 was the Olivia Rodrigo set, and now Maxbautde says it‘s Derpy & Sussie! More sets are coming in 2027! Edited Tuesday at 06:26 PM by BrickBob Studpants Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted Wednesday at 11:25 AM Posted Wednesday at 11:25 AM Now that we know that the returning theme is „P“ with a $160 18+ set, I‘m kinda stumped. If Stonewars were correct with classifying it as a gaming theme, the only options are Overwatch, Pac-Man, or Atari, but the latter two had Icons sets before, which wouldn‘t fit with the set number, and the former has no chance of returning amidst all the controversies. People have also suggested Horizon, apparently forgetting the last set came out less than a year ago This makes me think Stonewars were mistaken and it‘s not a gaming IP after all. But which theme would return with nothing but an 18+ set? This fits neither SpongeBob, ATLA, nor TMNT. Quote
vizzitor Posted Wednesday at 12:29 PM Posted Wednesday at 12:29 PM Definitely a long shot and probably not right but what about Portal? Quote
