Same here! That's why I thought you may like it...

Dickensian modulars like this, especially with a winter theme, are always great to see! I certainly love both its color palette and its many brick built details of draping snow.

As simple as this building may be in its construction, I really do dig it! Architecturally, it's Art Deco but with a deeper color scheme, which is pretty much exactly what I typically look for! Many of the other buildings in his streetscape look awfully nice too! :sweet:

Of today's picks I think this one is my favourite. It's a nice clean and modern design. The colours work well together and the 2 trees help to break up all the straight lines and stop it from looking to "boxy".

Hello! I've only visited this topic a few times, but I had a question and I thought this would be the best place to ask.

I posted this WIP topic shortly ago regarding mini modulars.

I've been wanting to start making my own modulars for awhile now, but I wanted to make mini modulars vs full sized minifig scale modulars. The only thing is that I wanted to know if a formula for what I have in mind already exists. I've looked around a little bit, but haven't come across much. So I decided upon a simple formula that I felt worked best.

Basically it's 16x16 and 8x16 bases with a three wide sidewalk and 1x2 Technic bricks with double pinholes as the connectors.

I feel this formula will work perfect, but I just want to make sure there isn't a preexisting formula before I start any serious building. Thanks!

Kudos to all these MOCers, these layouts are impressive in their sizes as well as with how much effort is gone to every small details! Much more to see on their Flickr!

All of today's picks are just breathtakingly beautiful. I will check out the other pics on Flickr as there is just so much detail to look at in all these layouts.

Congrats and well done for keeping this topic going for 3 months.

I reckon after this amount of time and nearly 20,000 page views, it's high time this was made a featured or pinned topic in the town forum. :classic:

Check out this alternate rebuild of Lego's Disney Castle set!

The Costume Shop by Lucas Bolt

This looks really good. At first sight I thought it looked as if it was a pretty small model but one of the shots on Flickr shows it next to Parisian restaurant and they are roughly the same height.

Hey @LegoModularFan, this may be a bit off topic, but I just noticed back on Thursday you'd signed up over on the BrickPicker forums and had started following me over there. Unfortunately through, given the forum's three post approval system for new members, I myself have been waiting since April 13th (when I signed up) for my own three posts to be approved of, as I've been restricted from both posting and receiving notifications since then as a result.

So, I was just wondering, do you perhaps know how long it took for your first introductory post to be approved of? Are you receiving notifications?
