I speculate they will reuse the crazy high priced owl from the burrow for the owl in the start of the clip @williejm there is even a highland cattle in the movie clip, but the chances are small they will include that.. And some pigeons flying around Maybe a goat Please, not more exclusive animals hidden behind the HP paywall 😡 Quote

Roebuck Posted Thursday at 04:43 AM Author Posted Thursday at 04:43 AM White horse, white owl and a green of some sort frog in Hogsmeade.. Quote

Accio Lego Posted Thursday at 07:17 PM Posted Thursday at 07:17 PM The Harry Potter gwp this year is apparently the Room of Requirement. Given the hints towards the fifth movie in the Hogsmeade set, it’s entirely possible we’ll see some new or returning sparkling trans blue animals. Quote

I wouldn’t *expect* a new animal mould in a GWP, but I’d say that the most likely new sparkly patronus to appear would be a Jack Russell terrier Quote

Also seems weird that an animal species or breed (eg Great Grey Owl & Mastiff dog) can be subject to licenses 😤 On 7/7/2025 at 12:45 PM, Roebuck said: It's frustrating indeed, maybe it has something to with them being named characters, but that is not the case with all? I actually think this is Lego fault not the license holder, if they put one of them in a unlicensed set it might show up on PAB. I think that happed to the lobster They have clearly been listening to you. Black cat will be in BAM from September 1st! Quote

Fantastic! I was considering buying it off Bricklink, but obviously the aftermarket price is a bit hard to justify. Now it'll be easily accessible for more people! Quote

Especially since it would keep the mold alive with MTS retiring this year. Quote

I am going to SFW in end of September so I hope they are out then 4 hours ago, JohnTPT17 said: Before we got pictures of Hogsmeade, I would have thought Abeforth's goat was a possibility as well. There are 5 years for the mould and I am sure Lego never will let that mould be destroyed ever again Quote

Roebuck Posted 5 hours ago Author Posted 5 hours ago Seems like there is only costumes and not a single animal in CMF 27 what a waste of a CMF, will at least save a lot of money 🤑 Quote

lifeinplastic Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Well that sucks big time. Lego City better be visiting the Savannah next summer... By the way, whenever I visit the Lego site and they ask for feedback I always comment about the absence of so many key animals (even though they are asking for feedback on the site). I'd urge all animal fans to do likewise... On 8/2/2025 at 8:49 PM, Accio Lego said: This seems like an awfully pessimistic take. If the series was all costumes it would be named something more specific like ‘costume party’ not ‘animals’. That’s not even getting into the fact that only animal costumes is a bit too niche. Plus, just look at the Space series, which is the best cue of what a current themed series would look like. It’s not all aliens, it’s not all throwbacks (no matter how much some AFOLs wanted it to be), and it’s not even all sci-fi – it’s a mix of all different themes and archetypes to maximize the potential audience. Using that as a measure, I’m fully expecting to see some animal centric professions – it’s been awhile since the last vet and we’ve had an animal control officer and zookeepers but not a wildlife rehabilitator or aquarium staff, at least one fantasy or historical take on animals, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see a kid who’s a big animal fan whose accessory is something like the old zoobooks. There will still be costumes, obviously, I just wouldn’t expect them to comprise the entire series – Lego knows full well actual animals are more popular than costumes. Some say pessimistic, I say realistic! Quote
RichardGoring Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Quite incredibly that this is the one series where they decide every figure needs to be uniform with no variety. What a shame. Even more bizarre when you consider that they know how well animals sell. Quote
