Good point!  I think a puppy mold was sneaked into a Police set this year. So my predictition is: a new dog breed. Mold for Fire set. I don’t think a retriever mold would be treated megablocks a dalamination.  

Ooo I’m very curious about CMF Series 25’s foreshadowing hint for City’s new subtheme in summer next year! For example:

in 2020, we got a turtle mold in S20 and then we got an ocean subtheme in City theme.

in 2022, we got a foal mold in S22 and then we got a farm subtheme in City theme. 

So we shall wait and see!

It is a Creator set so no animal moulds unfortunately

Creator 3 in 1, not City. So no moulds there. Could be Lion and Giraffe, since both have similar colours.

It would be interesting to get a kangaroo in a CMF so soon after the Australian wildlife minifig we got just this year (with the koala). I can’t think of a different enough fig to come in the next unlicensed series, other than maybe a kangaroo costume character (with a pouch for joey? We can only dream)

Mine would be a crow - even if it's just a recolour of a mould we already have.
And then a fox and fox kits.
And after that, a white stork.

And a boar.
With boarlets.

And a cockatrice.

The smowl is perfect. Here’s hoping the Harry Potter (and maybe City) designers have some sense and we see 2-3 new colors of this little nugget in regular sets next year, because right now it’s nearly impossible to deliberately get ahold of it.

It’s not molded insect at all but the Insect Collection set (from IDEAS) looks great!

It does indeed! And the printed ladybug tiles from it seem like they could be very useful even in minifig-scale MOCs—the eyes/face in particular are more realistic/less cartoony than the existing one, which some people might prefer.

Same with the spot pattern, too. The existing ladybug tile's spots don't match any real-world species that I know of, whereas this new one's spots are arranged just like the spots of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coccinella_septempunctata (a common ladybug species, particularly in Europe).

Did anyone watch the Ninjago City Markets designer video? He specifically calls out being asked to bring back the 'iconic LEGO goat', so they've done the wanted poster for it, and then he says 'I hope you can find him one day'. It's clearly a tease that it's coming.
