I love that Gimli's old torso is getting a re-color in the Blacksmith set. I'm hoping it shows up on PAB.

Yes, if on PAB, then I'll get a few for generic dwarves. Although I already have a load of Gimli and Dain's torsos, as well as the CMF ones too.

Nice catch, wouldn´t have recognized this, because the torso is usually hidden behind the beard - but even without that, very likely not.

I wouldn't say so, as it comes up in a Ninjago set.... chances are that they will.

 

Still waiting for the new castle set, the gumball machine set and haunted mansion set minifigures come up on Pab...

I guess you missunderstood my comment. There was no mention about PAB at all. 

And btw, if we look closely at Gimlis Torso and the one from the Ninjago movie, there are still quite some differences, so it actually isn´t a recolour, but a redesign - apparently they used Gimlis Torso as reference when they designed this figure for the series and then based the torso of this figure from that. Hence they are so similar, but still not the same.

The castle ones may pop up in December if PAB is still open, the gumball ones will(?) pop up in January if they do so alongside the space figs in the set, hunted mansion I have not heard anything (can hope for January).
I think it is safe to say if any of them has not shown up in the January drop they will not show up at PAB at all

It looks like Samurai’s Castle is now in Ideas’ Reviewing stage. I can’t wait for it to happen!

However, i won’ be surprised if it’s turned down in that stage.

Yes I am waiting for the 4 new factions to show up at PAB.

The Pegasus-printed Hylian shield from Friends set 42674 is up on Pick-a-Brick here in Canada.

Snake and horse shields are up, but not cheap, 2-3$.
The crown part and ghost are 5-6$ each and no sign of the torso or legs yet

The rest of the parts appear to be up. The torsos, legs, and heads from the castle and haunted house seem to be normally priced. Just some of the specialized pieces are various prices.

I'm very lucky now. My PaB order went through. I ordered half a dozen horse and snake knights each (torsos, legs and shields). This is my typical amount of "army" building - one or two knights and four soldiers of a faction. ( I didn't order the horse knight's crown because I think it's too expensive.)

They might be, the spacefigs from the set comes in January, so If they show up it will be in January.

There is a new Black Falcons torso in the Dreamzzz Tiger Shark set.  It's gold armor printed with the BF emblem in the middle and has matching gold armor legs.

It is basically the Nexo Knights Moorington crest. There also is a flag in the set.

Which is BF based so it's basically a BF torso.

Totally love that torso (and legs). Not really something for castle, but suitable for a space faction IMO

Like someone said on reddit it could be used a sort of shard plate armor like in the Stormlight Chronicles from Brandon Sanderson.  Which is basically enchanted armor, and is what I'm going to use it for in my fantasy world.

Hmm, I guess if you don´t take a close enough look it can indeed work - well and for fantasy anyways.

Yeah it's all about imagination.  There was very little variation in minifig heads when I was younger so I had to use my imagination for evil characters and just used straight black heads for my villains.  I don't mind if it has a little sci-fi look to it Elder scrolls and DnD have some of those elements it's not that much of a stretch to see it as enchanted or magical armor.

I quite like it. I think I’d use (just) one for my BF army
