I like to use imgbb.com because its fast to use and not censored in the UK. They also don't auto-delete images, or if they do its after a while by default Quote

HorcikDesigns Posted Thursday at 01:48 PM Posted Thursday at 01:48 PM (edited) Curved gear rack with this orientation of teeth? Sounds like some unorthodox (and unorthogonal) teeth geometries were used to make it work. The train will then need precise positioning while going on that curve, which will probably add some stress and friction... Looking forward to see how the gear wheels meshes with it under different conditions and loads. Edited Thursday at 01:49 PM by HorcikDesigns Quote
Johnny1360 Posted Saturday at 09:35 PM Posted Saturday at 09:35 PM Those new track pieces are larger than I had originally thought, thanks for the pictures. I wonder if that curve is the same as train track? Looks like excellent monorail track. Quote
pleegwat Posted Saturday at 10:20 PM Posted Saturday at 10:20 PM If I remember correctly train track has a 40 stud radius, which is significantly more than the 15 or 16 stud radius of this curved gear rack. Quote
