erao Posted February 28, 2009 B-RV-1D This is a MOC inspired by Hundertwasser Haus in Vienna, a very special building. I tried to creat it by LEGO since I visited Vienna three years ago. In this version, it is not the same with origin Hundertwasser Haus. I consider the concept and feeling are retained. There are Entrance of apartment, Diamond Store, barber shop, chocolate store, LEGO FAN CLUB in 1F. ILikePi Posted February 28, 2009 (edited) Whoa, nice MOC! I love how you put all those colors in there. EDIT: The brick wall part of the apartment looks really good. Where did you get that "Diamonds" sticker? By the way, I like the small details like the barber spiral thingy and those "sticky buns" (or whatever they are). Also, nice use of the LEGO Fan brick! Brickthing Posted February 28, 2009 Where did you get that "Diamonds" sticker? The diamond sticker came with an old Spiderman set, with a ramp and a skateboard thief stealing from the diamond store.
BlueBard Posted February 28, 2009 Amazing design, very accurated!
Asuka Posted February 28, 2009 Easy recognizable and a very good rendering of the original. A fine and indeed colorful work, very well done, I especially like the arrangement of the different parts of the facade and the good use of Fabuland windows. Maybe the roof greening could be a bit more prominent...
Eilif Posted March 1, 2009 Brilliant MOC. I've never seen the original, but your MOC's whimsy and color is smile inducing. Kudos also on the use of Fabuland parts. The roofline seems a bit abrupt, but as it appears that this is a facade, that may be inevitable. Well done.

erao Posted March 1, 2009 Thanks! all! I will do some work to make the roofline better Here is the original picture I took in Wien. It is a really beautiful building I'd like to have one in my little town Whoa, nice MOC!I love how you put all those colors in there. EDIT: The brick wall part of the apartment looks really good. Where did you get that "Diamonds" sticker? By the way, I like the small details like the barber spiral thingy and those "sticky buns" (or whatever they are). Also, nice use of the LEGO Fan brick! Hi, the sticker of "diamond" comes from set 4853.
MetroiD Posted March 1, 2009 This is absolutely marvellous! I won't go into details explaining what and why I love so much about it, but you've obviously put in a lot of work, so it's only natural that the end result is such a beauty. Just got one question: have you considered adding even MORE greenery to this MOC, as in the original Hundertwasserhaus? Looking at it on a fine spring morning, I had the feeling that shrubs and trees were coming straight out of those vibrant colours and I really loved that combination of colours + trees.... it was sorta like the Hanging Gardens of Babylon or something. Here's what I'm talking about:
