3. James Bond Lotus Esprit

Hi,

Here is my entry for the Model team contest. It is the James Bond version of the Lotus Esprit.

Functions:

Steering

Doors, hood & rear open

Convertable to submarine

First of all the car version:

And some details of the in and outside (including a souvenir from James' previous adventure  )

But of course a Bond car isn't a real Bond car without his gadgets, so here is the submarine version of the same car:

And a final rearview:

8. Octan GT

The model has steering with virtual pivot point inside the wheels, which is actuated by the rear exhaust.

The doors and the rear bodywork can be opened.

To keep the rear bodywork from openning on its own I used a small holder disguised as antenna on the rear of the roof.

To open the doors I used the mixel joints.

The rear parts can also be opened to expose the engine

It's functions are:

Steering, Although there's no HoG (hand of god) or functioning steering wheel and the angle is limited.

Opening doors. (There tiny, I know.)

Removable Canvas roof, Allowing the driver to stay dry(ish) when it rains. (Fortunately I do not have a photo of that right now.)
