puriri Posted November 28, 2010 Johnny Thunder and his guide have reached a strange tomb. As the Australian adventurer approaches the sealed entrance the slab of rock moves magically out of the way revealing a majestic treasure room with a ruby inside. Johnny walks inside only to have to jump out of the way of a swinging ax blade and a collapsing column! Someone didn't want the ruby stolen! He grabs the ruby and prepares to travel back to Cairo with the fantastic news! But as he walks back into the sun light he's ambushed by the evil Duke Nefarious and his eviler wife the Duchess Malevolent! They force Thunder to give them the ruby and drive away. Thunder is outraged but he's soon distracted! The Duke has left a stick of dynamite in the entrance to the tomb... Blam! The rock above the entrance collapses sealing the tomb forever! You can tell I'm excited for Pharaoh's Quest! Enjoy!
Peppermint_M Posted November 28, 2010 Nice MOC! I too use that head to create a flamboyant adventurer. The action features add good playablity and the colour scheme fits in with the theme.

Masked Builder Posted November 28, 2010 Looks like you improvised for Johnny thunder. (I think he looks better. ) The MOC looks very functional and did great in your story!
puriri Posted November 28, 2010 Thanks a lot guys! I had a lot of fun designing this with all of the playability. With the Pharaoh's Quest theme coming I wanted to make Johnny Thunder to look a bit older than his classic look so I gave him a make over. I have a whole new line of friends for him too which I hope to include in later MOCs!
XimenaPaulina Posted November 29, 2010 Very nice work puriri! I really like the falling column and collapsing tomb playability functions, very cleverly done.
