It looks very good!

Just perfect! I love it, it looks like a real pirate ship!

Am I the only one who thinks that prices are just too high? The only exception is the MF, which is well priced, the rest are just ridiculous

I think the older box art is far better, much more cleaner and (I personally think this is the most important part) it made you imagine! I mean, when I saw the old boxes I dreamed entire adventures that I was going to play with the set, thanks to the back of the boxes, that had amazing pictures to let you imagine a small story. Now the boxes are too saturated with colors, explosions, lasers and all of that stuff, and the back of the box only shows the play features of the set which (I've always thought) children doesn't care too much.

Absolutely amazing!!! Great job with the forced perspective!

This is an edited image of the MF, to "fix" the perspective. Now we can see its shape better.

This is fantastic!

Great review! Just saw that the "wings" on the 8097 are changed (the left one is on the right side and viceversa). Anyways I loved the comparison as the previous 2006 model, which is almost the same as the 8097 but with incaccurate colors. I would love to own the UCS one

One of my favorites, excellent work!!

What're your favorite and least favorite Star Wars sets?
BrickWalls replied to Loco de Lego's topic in LEGO Star Wars
The first Slave I (7144), no doubt about it. -
Tatooine is very sunny, so use a normal desktop lamp (alone, switch off the normal light of the room or the studio) without diffuser, so the shadows are more defined. Also figure out the position of the sun(s). For example, if you want your picture to be at sunset, you can put the lamp low, pointing to the figures, and if you want it to be at midday, put the lamp high, imitating the sun. Hope this helps! It's always nice to see Tatooine shots!

This is a test shot that I made to test my skills with chromakey, recreating this scene of the Battle of Endor. The lego trees in the background were made in LDD and then exported into 3D. Trees that are further away are a stock picture of a forest.
