MOC - Functional Lego Handcar

Hi everyone! This is a small and simple MOC of a traditional handcar. It closely mirrors the design animated here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Hand_Car_Animation.gif

It uses a Technic 24T gear and 12T bevel gear and has platforms for two people. Of course, traditional Lego minifigs will fly around but from what I've read, the NBA minifigs could potentially work with the springs in their legs removed.

A simple yet elegant design, well done! I was going to try designing one of these myself, but now I don't have to. I think a plainer colour scheme of black/dbg/brown would work better for varieties seen in the UK, but yellow would be more appropriate for modern-day health-and-safety high-visibility reasons!

Thanks :) I went with yellow for part availability and because it was the second image result when I googled around. I might give it a go with a reddish brown or the like to see if all of the parts can be sourced.
