  1. I got the Lilo and Stitch beach house (set 43268) on March 1st, with the intent of making it have a back half and fit on a removable modular baseplate. I removed the flying saucer-thing from the roof and got rid of all the new reddish orange from the model, while more furniture was added. All the Disney-centric parts were removed as well, so it is now just a regular house. front of the house The rear of the house. The inside details of the front half. This includes a kitchen, living room, bedroom, and bathroom. The inside details of the back half feature the dining room and the other half of the bathroom. Here's the modular base without the easily-removable house attached. This car is a MOD of 2021 set 40448 - Vintage Car GWP (from Ideas) I removed the surfboards from the side, and altered the way the colors a bit on the back, and a few other things I can't recall. The figure standing in the picture is the owner. rear of the car The car seats two, as in the original set (please pardon the brush fibers) Thoughts? Post updated with real world pictures on 4/12/25
  2. This week was able to secure getting two older creator sets, the Beach House (4996) and Seaside House (7346). Was not planning on having a beach display in our city layout, now with these sets going to go for it! Ordered the fun at the beach mini fig pack to populate our display (these sets were light on mini figs). We also have the older marina and the beach hut sets too. Prefer the main builds on both house sets. So my question is, which side of 7996 is supposed to have the beach? Thinking the side with grill and table. If this is true, would match up with 7346 water area. Only draw back here is IMO the beach house looks best displayed from the front, like main picture on the box where you can see the A frame contruction. Anyone have any pictures on how they are displaying these sets? One more note, really liked the 3rd build in the Seaside House, the one with the bridge and drink bar. Going to moc something like this in our display. The Marina already has the bridge so may use part of that for my moc.
  3. Hey everyone, My name's Justin. I just recently got back into Lego as an AFOL about 1 1/2 years ago. I just started working on MOCs and constructing my own Lego city. I am currently working on a beach house. I just started but if anyone wants to see progress pics, I can post them. I am thinking of putting it on the Lego Ideas site to see what kind of reaction I get. I am completely open to ideas, changes, suggestions or constructive criticism as well! Thanks! Justin
