  1. Revisited my entry for the 2025 Alt-Build Contest. Made some changes from the originally submitted design, for both additional stability and to incorporate more pieces. A few parts are only attached with one stud, but thankfully those aren't any weight-bearing elements or parts you would be handling as you pose it/move it around. Standing stability is also surprisingly decent IRL. And most importantly, a minifig fits in the cockpit!
  2. I'm not sure if anyone ever wished for an all-black dropship, but i had to do it in the wake of the Dark Falcon Instructions on Rebrickable: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-194160/zsoltom/dark-dropship-75336-alternative/#details Can carry an AT-TE (75337 - notice that the Scythe is 75336, the AT-TE is 75337, this had to happen! :D), but i couldn't add in a technic handler, thats why the body is built extra sturdy. Can stand on its own as well, 2 seater, comepletely openable cockpit, weapon holders, and projectile shooters under the wings. Since the AT-TE holder technic "frame" is 2 stud wider than it is needed, i think a wide vareity of vehicles could be attached to it, but i only have the AT-TEs.
  3. Hello there people, my second alt from the Razor Crest is here: Mando's U-Wing! https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-194235/zsoltom/mandos-u-wing-75292-alternative/#details 2 figs can get in the cockpit, moveable wings, you can fix them at landed and attack positions too, removable landing gears, and is overally a sturdy-playable model! What do you think? :)
  4. I decided after two years to tear apart my 10295 Alt Build Countach by Firas Abu-Jaber and use these pieces to graduate to Rastacoco's Countach. Before I get to tearing it apart I wanted to share some photos, because a little over a year ago I upgraded the Countach to make it look more authentic. Among these upgrades include more accurate headlights and front area, white rims that used to be on my Volkswagen Beetle set (made it a Fuchs Beetle!) mirrors, new bonnet and trunk, new scoops, the iconic Countach wing, new taillights, more accurate cleaned-up interior and trunk space (plus removing their "color vomit"), a beautiful engine bay, and custom stickers. There's probably more I haven't listed, it was a heavy revision!
  5. Hi all! I've built a spaceship using the leftover parts from 10497 alt build 1. I call it the Galaxy Roadster. I was able to make the space ship along with a landing pad, landing beacon, and parking enforcement robot. More pics here if you're interested. Thanks!
  6. Hi all! I made this Galaxy Explorer Ground Base from the leftover parts in set 10497 after building the smallest One Man Space Ship alt build. This is the original: Here's mine: In addition to the command base & comm tower, there's a power station, small landing pad, some craters, a small speeder, and a rover. Command base: Comm tower: Power station: Landing pad and speeder: Rover (which I think is hilarious because the truck/storage bed is under the driver's seat): Anyway, I had a ton of fun building this. Thanks for looking!
  7. Hi everyone, I'd like to introduce my latest MOC. It is an alternate build of the set 60418 Police Mobile Crime Lab Truck. This set's versatile selection of parts (especially the hinges) allowed for plenty of creative possibilities. The story centers on a daring escape attempt using a stolen forklift while the police are distracted at the "Handcuff Café." The primary vehicle is a tractor with a low loader. Its cab seats two occupants, with a small compartment behind them for storing accessories. This tractor turned out great — it even works as a stand-alone model, resembling a racing truck with the bold new tires (5033). The trailer features a "gooseneck" profile (non-detachable) with a functional ramp and stabilizers. The forklift, built with locking hinges, operates smoothly at high and low angles. While it doesn't lift much, it performs well thanks to a carefully balanced counterweight that prevents tipping. As for the café, I repurposed the CSI technician as the attendant, complete with a payment terminal and a movable humanoid sign overhead holding handcuffs. It felt fitting to include a little park bench for law enforcement to relax while they visit this unique hangout spot. Meanwhile, the jail is unguarded but equipped with adjustable CCTV surveillance and wanted posters. The prisoner just needs a little help to escape through the roof hatch — can they make it to the underground getaway in time? Feature List: Cab-over style Tractor Truck with seating for driver & passenger. Includes small storage space in the cab with rear access hatch. Low Loader Trailer, complete with working Stabilizers & Ramp. Futuristic “RC” Telehandler Forklift. Comes with a Pallet & Container for moving materials. Handcuff Hangout Café. Adjustable signage. Nearby Park Bench. Prison Tower with Radio Antenna & Surveillance Camera. Features overhead escape hatch for prisoner. Underground Escape Tunnel entrance. More pix on Flickr HERE l

Eurobricks Alt build Hobbiton Destination Weddings by Bismuth83, on Flickr Have both your wedding and Honeymoon in the idyllic Shire ( with rooms for guest available in both Bree's Prancing Pony and Hobbiton's own Green Dragon! Eurobricks Alt build Hobbiton Destination Weddings by Bismuth83, on Flickr The wedding package includes a lovely honeymoon suite in a blue doored Hobbit Hole (or Smial if you want to talk like a local!) with a window and flower garden! Eurobricks Alt build Hobbiton Destination Weddings by Bismuth83, on Flickr And for your special day itself we've got you covered with a delectable turquoise podium with a beautiful golden arch, a buffet with a pink cake and cleanly washed apples that live in a fountain! There's also seats for a small number of guests for a nice intimate ceremony. But with a large camera you can livestream the wedding to anyone back home too and there's a golden and green clock so everything can be timed to perfection! Eurobricks Alt build Hobbiton Destination Weddings by Bismuth83, on Flickr Take a look at some reviews from our previous guests! 'Loved the RED apples! But a bit too sunny for me' - Marceline (5 stars) 'Plenty of Vegan and Vegetarian options in the Buffet, sadly no Pizza or Tofu' - Garfield Logan (4 stars) 'The house didn't have an interior and the service only had two seats? Pathetic!' - Cat Lover guy (1 star) 'I left Oz to live in peace but somehow my my enemies Morrible and Wizard found me here and joined in the wedding! When I asked a customer services representative about it they just said something about it being an Alt-build and them wanting to make the most of the available characters? I have no idea what that means!!!!' (0 stars) 'The locals made me feel tall!' - Jay (5 stars) Eurobricks Alt build Hobbiton Destination Weddings by Bismuth83, on Flickr Not gonna apologise about the photography this time, because I think it does look nicer! Built the hobbit hole first then wanted to use more of the parts but thought back to when I made Mara Jade's wedding and that inspired me! Anyway I hope you like this one! I've got some bonus shots to add later!
  9. Here is my entry for the Alternate Build contest using one copy of LEGO 10311 Orchid to create this scene of a praying Mantis escaping a garden filled with dangerous tools. This build depicts the following: A praying mantis A manual grass cutter with spinning blades and wheels! White hibiscus flower with stem and fallen pedals A handheld cultivator/ garden fork A pair of yellow garden scissors/shears (Functional, it can be opened and closed ) My main focus was to create a dynamic scene which leaned into playability, but also looked nice and cohesive. I started with the mantis, then, I figured that the blue and gray parts could be used on garden tools to make them appear as a part of a set or collection, similar to how brands will make all their products a certain color. The unorthodox combination of unique parts in this set meant that I had to use parts in new ways to make stable connections that also looked how I wanted. I managed to use roughly 85-90% of the included parts, I never realized how most botanical sets are essentially disguised techinic sets haha. The large quantity of technic parts forced me to build with a completely different mindset since I typically build with mostly system parts. It was difficult for me to make something stable that resembled a mantis, but I've gained a new appreciation for technic's usage for structural stability and dynamic components. Thanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoy the build! 10. In the Cartoon Network show "Smiling Friends", Gwimbly is a retro 90's video game character who's trying to get back on his feet after falling on hard times. This recolored version of Gwimbly features his iconic cap and vest as well as half a pair of pants for some reason. You can unlock it in the original game by collecting fifty cans of creamed corn in the infamously difficult volcano level.
  11. I had a ton of fun on this alt build! It's a redux of the classic 1987 Stardefender 200 from the Futuron series. I used only a single copy of the new Lego Movie 2 set 70849-1: Wyld-Mayhem Star Fighter. Behold the Star Befriender 200: I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. I was able to keep the same overall design with a central sloping canopy, dual forward mandible guns, and detachable side pods. Obviously the name is a gag; the set has many "Friends" colors. The pods are about as small as they can be while still fitting a minifig. I don't think I had the pieces to make them any bigger! The rear is a little busy. I decided to use the colorful curvy pieces there for some visual interest. This is a Systar ship after all. I used the small cones as thrusters like the original Stardefender 200. Thanks for looking!
  12. Made a B model using pieces from set 70834 "MetalBeard's Heavy Metal Motor Trike!" Very happy with the shape I was able to get from the pieces and was even able to give metalbeard a body with the spares.
  13. Did a random search for Creator sets and stumbled onto Mini Trains. I like it, it's cheap and the suggested models are distinct from each other. So I got to thinking, how do I take these old-timey trains and turn them into something more hi-tech? I went with the obvious answer of course, turn the train into a wireless hydroelectric power station! Hydroelectric Power Station (4837-1 Mini Trains Alt Model) by Henchmen4Hire I hope it's more or less clear how it supposedly works lol. The two metal towers are some kind of generators, the clips could be antennas or a place to lash cables from the generators. Power is stored in the black tanks, which are connected to the, uh, transceiver? and then shot out into the open so devices can use the free wireless energy.
