It is on this day, September the tirteenth of the year 616, that we, Román Esteban Fontonajo and Elysabeth of Drondil, mayors of respectively Nova Terelli and Elysabethtown, declare the following: -From now, the ties between our two cities will be tighted using a variety of deals and mutual agreements, as explained below -To encourage the Eslandolan fleet, a certain number of ship-builders from each city will teach a certain number of shipwrighters from the other -Considering the trading rights on the island... ... -... To further encourage shipbuilding, and thus trade and wealth, a bonus will be offered to all ships build for the Eslandolan fleet -As part of the previous agreement, we will offer a bonus of 120DBs to any ship build before October the First, 616, that is offered to the Eslandolan Crown. (Up to a maximum of three, and a minimum of class 4.) For King and Country!

My shipyards have been busy - Green Winds a week ago wasn't the last ship they would build either way. While I was glad how fast Green Winds was, the beauty of Schooners never really hit me, and many others have suggested me to give my shipyards the order to build a Xebec - they are supposedly great ships, both for trade and for travel; for war and defence we have other ships. As I suspected that a Xebec should be able to keep up with Green Winds, I ordered my shipbuilders to paint her in the same colours. They succeeded in both ways - she seems to fit well with the colours of Green Winds; and considering how well she plays with the wind I have decided to name her Colour of the Wind. Lets go around her in our small boat and look: We start on the Port side: Go to the Stern: Around to the Starboard side: And finish our tour around looking at the bow: So, after we checked her out while she's still standing here, lets look at her next to Green Winds - well, lets say let a bird look at them next to each other: As you can see she's only a little bit shorter than Green Winds; as well as that she is a lot sleeker, so she should be more than equal in speed. ______ So, a quick overview over the facts: time spent building - no stopwatch running, started 1 1/2 days ago 4 longguns Captain Lum Liddle Owner Jerome Monezterrell(me) Build by Monezterrell' Shipyards (might be at some point in the future) Tradecompany MAESTRO crew: 10 men Rating: class 5F ______ sorry about the picture quality, the weather is bad and they just didn't come out any better. Father Tholeau and the Midas curse During the exploration to find the fountain of youth, Felipe de la Manzana and his team found a strange book near the floating rocks. Here is what they learned reading it : "I am cursed... I will probably die soon, so here is my last words. If I don't find the Fountain of youth, I will never be able to cure me from the terrible curse Hades priests cast upon me. I had to flee from the ship I was because the crew began to be worry as the first symptoms of the curse appeared. First, it was just pain in my right arm, then my hand became solid gold and became un usable. I had to flee... I landed in a desert island and it appeared it was not the good one. I thought I was closer to the island of the Fountain... After crafting me a small fortune skiff, I managed to reach the next island. It wasn't so far, finally... It appeared I was wrong again, this island was mangrove and swamps. I had to escape from alligators' attacks. At last, I think I found it ! This is probably the good island. Those strange rocks seemed to protect the access to the Fountain ! Let's hope I can reach it... Now, all my right side is contamined by the curse. I have to walk with an help... I am cursed... This is the Midas curse, and the only way to cure it is to drink the Fountain waters. Father Tholeau." This was probably the last words of Father Tholeau. Hope you enjoyed it. An older guy with an oddly brown beard and poor clothes went to the MAESTRO Cider shop at the quays. "Greatings monsieur N'estpassivieux, how are you doing today?" "Ah, excellent eh, oui yes, but too bad it will be my last applecider I'll drink in my life" "How it comes? You are our most loyal client!" "Ah oui yes, I should not say it, but as I am older, I don't have so much longer to live. And see, I got a cousin in Mardier, and the higher class in Mardier spent their last days in a Spa. Something about a white volcano It makes them feel younger. But only Marderians are supposed to know." "Really too bad, we'll miss you... Anyway, enjoy the applecider and your holiday there!" At the same time monsieur N'estpassivieux left, a messenger left and took a quick Skiff to Elysabethtown. -------- A few days later, around miday, The Prince of Stedor arrived at an island with a white volcano. It wasn't that hard to find once you knew what to search for... (note, this seriously is not LEGO... It is to illustrate the island and the inspiration for the following pic which is LEGO and is my story build.) ---------- "A Mardierian flag, this should be the right spot", Jan Zwartbaard whispered to his Lieutenant once they set foot on the land. They found a perfect spot to hide the Prince of Stedor and the troops stationed on it. "I don't like the symbol of Zeus as flagpole" the Lieutenant replied. Strange indeed... But the explanation came quickly as the exploring party arrived at the so hyped Fountain of Youth. "Welcome to the Fountain of Youth Spa, Please register here, leave your money and weapons there, change your clothes wherever you want and start relaxing!" A beauitull woman welcomed the explorers. Jan Zwartbaard was stunned for a moment. Such a beauty!! But then the Lieutenant woke him up from daydreaming and pointed to some red cloaked figures on top of a small hill. The lady saw them looking and wondering, so she said: "That's Lord Father Toleau. He discovered this island and made this wonderfull Spa Resort out of it." "What's the secret of this island?" "Well, the rich and famous from Mardier are enjoying the end of their life here. As we got everything in this Spa and they may do everything here, added with the healing atmosphere of the White Volcano, they feel young again. Ofcourse they don't live forever, but at least, they die feeling young..." Meanwhile Lord Father Toleau arrived at the scene as well, accompanied with two red cloaked guards. "Ah Eslandolan friends... As good tradepartner of Mardier, you are welcome to take a rest here, but we fear you are too young to stay here..." "Weren't you an Oleon priest?" "Oh yes, but after I discovered the island, Mardier offered me the most power and wealth, so now this a Mardierian Colony." Jan Zwartbaard knew enough.... Lord Father Toleau didn't know there was war between Eslandola and Mardier... He didn't know YET... He looked to his Lieutenant and nodded... What a beautifull addition to the MAESTRO empire... Usually my shipyards just build new ships for use in the fleet of MAESTRO. But with the right offer anyone can request a ship or the refit of one. A while ago I heard that Corrington needed one of their captures refit; I heard it was supposedly the strongest Warschooner ever seen in these waters. Of course, I can't not look at such a unique ship. So I decided to let my shipyards take on the challenge of refitting it. The moment it arrived here I was surprised - it looks like it was almost meant to be a frigate, until someone decided they wanted a schooner instead. No surprise, considering that this ship had been build by pirates, who are known to change their minds often. But the quality of the build was surprisingly good - there wasn't as much to repair as I had suspected; the worst were the sails which were completely destroyed in the battle - it fought hard, but had to surrender eventually. Lets hope it doesn't have to do that again. Hereby I present to you: the former Blood Mean, now named HMS Badger in the hands of Corrington, refitted under undisclosed conditions by Monezterrel shipyards. Here we see the Stern of the HMS Badger. And the obligatory view of the bird. ___________ This is first build I've build in this scale, and I'm think it turned out quite well. I'm especially proud of the way the curve and tumblehome (although it is almost not noticeable) turned out, the only part I feel like it needs to be redone is the bow, but I just have no idea how to do it better.

My shipbuilders requested some palmwood, and I heard the best palmtrees grow on Cocovia, and it just so happened that I know some people around there. So I decided to to ask them if I could start a small plantation to get my needed supply of palmwood. Luckily it all worked out well; I sent one of my assistants out to set up the plantation in the near vicinity of Quinnsville. So, lets see how it goes around there: While some of the horses, which are pulling the wood from the plantation to the harbour aren't behaving as well as they should, they still get the job done. You can see one of my men is tying the newly cut down palmtree to the harness the horse is wearing. And here we can see our other two friends working, Joe is happily cutting down another tree while Kayne has just finished removing all the leaves from the latest palmtree so it is ready to be moved to the harbour of Quinnsville. And, as usual, we have out bird flying over it showing what it sees. __________________________ This small plantation will be licensed as my free property in Quinnsville

The MAESTRO Quest Hall ! or The MAESTRO Adventure Parties (MAP) Hello to everyone ! Felipe de la Manzana and MAESTRO are proud to launch this new idea : The MAESTRO Adventure Parties ! or MAP if you prefer. This idea is the way the MAESTRO trade Company will explore the New World ! Our scientists, helped by The Doctor, from Corrington, and with the assistance of the Ténotclaxcans, developed a way to chartered new areas uknown until now ! With those new maps, MAESTRO is opening to all the players of any Faction a new in-Land action. This action will be known as the MAESTRO Adventure Party (MAP). One Party will be launch for a time determined by the Party leader (by now, just MAESTRO members) and be parted in 3 Acts (like in theater plays). Every player who wants to try the adventure has to conform to some rules : - A Party is something near a build-off or a mini challenge. The players will have to build a MOC for each Act. Each Act is scenarised by the Party Leader, for now, only MAESTRO members can be Party Leaders (Please, PM me if you want to try) - Every participant has to suscribe to a determined Party. He can do this by PM me or just suscribe in this thread. - A Party is a competitive action and each contestant needs to suscribe to a specific Party before participating. There are no possibility for team action for now. - Suscribing to a Party engage to spend Dbs to win a clue to solve the story. The amount and the clues are Party leader decision. Players should be awared that Parties can be lost and will lead to a loss of Dbs ! - Once you suscribed to a Party you're suppose to go to the end. - MAP is only engaging MAESTRO and is not a new official action. It's not a MRCA action. The first party will be open in the 15th of July. It will be lead by myself and be about the Ténotclaxcans pearl divers. So every player who want to try the adventure is free to PM me or suscribe in this thread. Thank you !

The Discovery of the Fountain of Youth : Through the dense jungle of a lost island and through the dangerous rock formations of this land, Felipe de la Manzana reached an unknown place where the rocks are literally floating in the air, just sustained by tree roots and thin rock lines that have not broken yet. It is here, in this hellish place, where Father Tholeau is situating the Fountain of Youth. Felipe's exploration team was fighting the jungle from days by now and no sign of this damned fountain... Suddenly, the Ténotclaxcan scout yelled to the group to come closer ! He had found a more strange rock formation, all black with dark bluish reflections runing on it and it seemed this mineral formation was probably the center point of a floating rock ! Felipe, intrigued by the idea, tryed to climb on the floating rocks jumping from a root to a liana and reached the top of the formation. What was his surprise when he finally saw the fountain at the top of the highest floating rock ! Rapidly, the team deployed a security perimeter and Basil managed to join Felipe to the fountain. Felipe drank the blessed water but he did not became younger ! No, the fountain is not so strong ! The water just healed him from all these hard days of exploration ! He also noticed that all the scratches and little bruises he had gathered through the jungle were gone... Thank you for reading. There is a reason why the coat of arms of Elysabethtown is a "Lancer". Elysabethtown is well known for its regiment of dragoons stationed there. As horses are such an important part of life in the Eslandolan colony, the Horse Ranches are of significant importance. Just outside Elysabethtown, the Horse Ranch of Pierre de Fokker is located across a small river. Guarded 24/7 by MAESTRO soldiers against the unknown threats there possibly are. A commercial place selling the finest horses of Terra Versa! --- Note: as I never collected green plates and as I spent a large amount of brown bricks in my latest fort, I decided to build in LDD... Building with real bricks is way more easier! This will be licenced as Large Commerce property. C&C welcome! -
It is my 4th Free build this month, so don't hesitate to approve it if you like it. Thank you ! Apple Trees Orchard near Elysabethtown, Berelli Once they reached Berelli and met the tribe of the Ténotclaxcans, Felipe and Basil headed through the jungle to the main village of the natives : Zum'heria. But what was their surprise when they discovered that Lady Elysabeth of Drondil and her husband, Lord Matteus Tomvaximus, leaders and friends of the MAESTRO Company, were already at work near that village by building a new Colony for Eslandola and for the King ! The occasion was too great for Felipe ! He must have changed the jungle around by planting Apples ! So he ordered to transplant some apple trees and replace the costal forest near Elysabethtown by them ! His men worked hard to cut the jungle, dig the holes and plant the young trees Basil and Felipe managed to bring from Nelissa to Berelli ! Once the orchard ready, Pinya, the young daughter of the high priestess of the Ténotclaxcans, came with an escort to see what those men from the west were doing. Basil explained to her how they managed to bring young apple trees in some barrels in order to transplant them, and how soon there will be grown and ready to produce delicious apples for everyone ! - That is great job, man of the west. Said Pinya, but be careful with the jungle ! The trees of the forest don't really like to be cut and be replaced by other trees... There are some terrible things that could happen here ! - Ahah ! What ?! What can a tree could do against me ! Laughed Basil. - I don't know. Answered Pinya. But be careful... So, here is the First attempt to develop Berelli ! I tryed to show the very first plantation being settled, as Berelli is a totally new and free territory ! So I had to show how the men are cuting the jungle, first, and after that, I managed to show the orchard with young trees. I know it could be non-sense to bring apple trees in the rain forest, but... It's the madness of my 2 characters that leading them to such an absurd idea ! I am claiming this small orchard as my free license property for MAESTRO, for Eslandola and for the King ! Ah... and for Apples ! Hoping you like this. C&C are always welcome.

Leon grumbled. He hated scout-missions. These things were boring to death! Right now, his fellow soldiers would be taking a nap, or preparing food... What would they eat this evening? He with his damned luck always!!! But he, if the Lady sent you in a scout-mission, you didn't protest and just went. The soldiers loved - no, worshipped Lady Elysabeth! As such were his thoughts when he suddenly saw something dark brown rise up in front of him. It seemed a pallisade!!! And inside the wall, there were people!!! Altough they didn't look that friendly, Leon was a real Eslandiann with his priorities straight: "Maybe we can trade with'em?" The Jungle (is) Mine : After being a while in Berelli, Felipe de la Manzana and his first officer Basil noticed that the jungle was very hard to replace by Apple Orchards. It is during one of this attempt to cut down some palm trees, the Eslandian team noticed some shiny metal reflections in the rock formations that forming the bed of the Dragon River. So Felipe sent out there a prospecting team to analyse the minerals. "So, What do you think of this minerals Professor ?" Asked the young Geologist Assistant. "Mmmmh... It could be some gold, or perhaps a sort of copper, or even maybe some ferrous mineral... I am not sure yet. We will need more analysis." Mysteriously answered the Geologist hired by Felipe. Nothing very special in this build, but I tryed to MOC a prospecting action in the wild to settle a mine near Elysabethtown in Berelli. Hoping to find Gold ! C&Cs are welcome.

According the King'sport advertiser the Raenette II participated in a big action against the Mardieran privateer L'Olius and succeeded in the capture of the Spotted Sparrow, a war brigantine. Here is what happened (according Felipe de la Manzana) : Captain's log entry, 29th of April 616 : "We started our route with a good escort lead by our friends of Corrington. The Company is in good term with Corries and we managed to open a MAESTRO branch in the Red country, so the escort is more than welcome, even if my new Ténotclaxcan crew member doesn't seem enchanted to encounter Corleanders." The situation became a bit strange when the escort had been separated from the merchants. Captain's log entry, 30th of April 616 : "I lost see on the escort, and we are some trading ships lost at the mercy of the simplest pirate ship that could attack us. I didn't understand what happened to the escort..." "Ah! I said we were lost, and it will probably... A Mardier fleet is in sight... They showed their colours ! it's a black and red flag ! Privateers ! A full fleet of Mardieran privateers... Probably L'Olius, the dreadful privateer that already attacked Eslandola ! Now I can guess what happened to our escort..." And the battle began. With an excellent anticipation, Felipe used the speed of the fast Raenette to pass behind the Spotted Sparrow, a full armed Brigantine, while the boardside fired but the Privateer vessel missed Felipe's. Then, using the Ténotclaxcans method of boarding, Felipe's crew engaged the Mardierans directly at the navigation deck and tryed to kill the captain and the navigator to stop the ship. And Felipe's crewmen finally killed the privateer captain and begin to become masters of the War Brigantine. The rest of the Mardieran crew surrendered or flew at sea. This is how Felipe de la Manzana won a War vessel. This ship, as a revenge on L'Olius Mardier Privateer fleet, had been re-named the Pinapple Revenge by Felipe and is joining MAESTRO's fleet as a class 3A war brigantine. The ship is totally built on a custom hull based on CMF's baseplates I placed to give the curve aspect of the hull. I took some time to have a better rigging than my last ships and even made some ratlines ! The sails are just paper sails as I will not be able to have better sails before the end of the month, but one should know I have a project to create quality custom cloth sails. So I will probably post some new pictures when I'll have them. As always, C&Cs are welcome !

[ESL - FB1 - class 5+] Pride of Elysabethtown

I've lately been thinking about how we, as MAESTRO, should expand our fleet - many more small ships just take up so much space! So I decided to let our best shipbuilders help design a ship which can help us to deal with that problem. They have come up with one of the biggest ships I've ever seen, it is just about the same size as the Margot, but this is not a Warship! It is a ship meant for carrying a lot of cargo while still being able to defend itself against most enemies. At least I hope so, considering she is armed with 24 guns! She'll be commanded by Captain Lamar Evercrees`. Now we just have to wait for our order of sails to arrive to send THE PRIDE OF ELYSABETHTOWN off to her first journey! So, time for pictures - just 5 of them for now, as it got knocked over by the wind while I was taking these and I have to fix some stuff (and the wind got even worse, so...): (Maxim, please use this picture for the index) So, now its time to wait for the new classes as this ships doesn't fit into the current ones. I guess it could be something along the lines of 8T or similar as the current tradeships tend to have a gunrating 2 levels lower than their class. With the bowsprit she"s roughly a meter long, just barely fits in my window where she'll be sitting. I haven't decided if I want to make sails for it, I feel like my typical sails would just downgrade this ship. I'll see about that. The rigging will stay as it is as it already kinda survived falling over and being covered by a blanket (which it was standing on). I need a bigger ship, the Wringe II just doesn't cut it. Due to this, I've decided that I'll get my shipbuilders to build a bigger ship for me. And they've succeded again! This ship is a class 3T2, a large sloop which will be a ship shared with MAESTRO and members. Her captain is Captian Nard Klein Veegevuur. So, lets see how she looks like: Lets also see her stern: And also sailing with the wind; the mast is not tipping over, thats just the perspective:P Lastly we have a size comparision with the Wringe II, as I feel like thats necessery. Everyone in Eslandola has been wondering for a long long time if gold could be used as an instrument. But now, finally, my engineers have come up with a way to get it to work! Hereby I present the... GOLD ORGAN It magnifies the sound of the gold and silver keys through its pipes. I hope you like how it sounds. Here it is again without me. Once I have a flagship for myself I'll for sure get it on board. But until then it'll have to stay here at the Musicians Talent Fair here in Bardo. GOLD GOLD GOLD GOLD GOLD (etc)

This is my third freebuild this month. If you're not Eslandolan and like it, please approve. Leon sighed. Why was it always him? First he had discovered that tribe (true, that had also awarded him some praise from the Lady, and a lot of soldiers were jealous for that), but he'd prefer no praise over praise and being hung by his toes from a palm tree. By natives! But it seemed like his bad luck had not yet deserted him: today, Lady Elysabeth had an official meeting with a Corringtonlander Ambassador from the town at the other side of the island. And of course, she wanted to impress that scienceman. Typically for him he was elected for such a boring duty! Of course, in such a shape, the Lady needed protection. But why on earth had that to be in official uniform? It was f#cking more then 25 degrees outside, with a tropical climate... He heart a cough. When he lookep up, he saw Elysabeth's eyes fixed upon his face. That d#mned Lady could read thoughts! Then he saw her gesturing the Ambassador was incoming. ------------------------------ "A warm welcome to our humble settlement, My Lord Ambassador. Please excuse me for not standing up and having a somewhat more comfortable chiar, but I hope you see that my... Condition does not allow me more. But enough about me. How do make it? I hope the voyage wasn't too exciting tiring. As you know, Lord Da Manzana has already negotiated all terms of the treaty..." ----------------------------- Elysabeth was glad the Ambassador finally put his sign under the document. Altough the major work was done by Felipe, she still had to dispute a thousand little remarks. She wasn't made for this work! She was a soldier, and her place was at the frontier! Instead of that, she had to be carried around in a litter, like some silly lady at the Oleander court and be polite to all these important persons, while doing paperwork! Now she had to go drink something with the Ambassador... That improved her state-of-mind: she had still some of Manzana's apple cider left... -------------------------------------------------------------------- Just a quick built, hope you like it! This was based ion the Norse sery Occupied (Okkupert), wich I really love! With a bit of imagination, one can see the Russian Ambassy in it... I hope! "La Raenette" Felipe de la Manzana, after his wreckage, had to join Terelli where he could bought a new ship. Once in the Capital port, he managed to hire some new crewmen and found an ancient Oleon designed fast cutter for sell. He bought her and after few repairs and new sails, the ship was ready ! She was renamed "La Raenette", in homage to her Oleander origins. Felipe set rapidly sails to Berelli to join his friend Basil and to know if his diplomatic efforts had been succeed. She is a fast cutter, rapid and easily manned, but she is not very well armed. Just an old 12pounder gun is light for self defense, but with an escort, it will not be a problem. Here are the official soldiers on board making some training : Here is a seagul view : So Felipe is back for new adventures (the continuing of the one he already began...) Hope you like it. The ship is licensed as my new free license ship. It is a 1 gun cutter, it is a Class 2 F vessel. I tryed a totally new approach for this build as I go for a brickbuilt hull and a more advanced rigging than for the appleseed. I know it's not perfect but I am quite happy how it turned out. Btw, I've re-made the rigging of the poor appleseed when I built her sunk. You can see her new aspect on my flickr. Comment and criticism are welcome. Thank you !

Looking out his window, Lord Maximilian Damaximus saw the "Margot" in front of the bay of Stedor. Fully equiped with 55 guns. Although they still are working on the rigging, he couldn't wait until she was seaworthy. He sighed, last month trade run was terrible. The "Knight of Stedor" had to return to it's first port, the "Appleseed" sunk and the "Sulky Harlequin" made only 98 db's profit (divided by 10 shareholders, that was almost nothing). If he ever wanted to get a licence for "Margot", it would take ages at the current revenues. Although the "Sulky Harlequin" made a terrible run, the way CSC licenced her was an example of innovation. And Maximilian was sure the odds will change the upcomming trade run! Time to do some business with the Corringtonlalanders. At the Stedorian Quays, the "Purple Rain" was packing some tradegoods. A decent fast and well-armed ship, ready to rock'n roll! -------------------------------- Captain Matt Lenoir was looking over the stern to Stedor. His new ship the "Purple Rain" just set sail to Terelli. He loved Stedor, the white harbor, the vibrant atmosphere, the dangerously looking fortress and especially the Governal Palace on the mountain, watching over the Bay. He looked to the Licence in his hands and smiled. Finally he had a decent ship under his command! Lord Maximilian Damaximus gave him even 2 Elite Guards to protect the ship. And as it is a joint-venture with some Corrington investors, two Corrington soldiers are on board as well. Even an important Corrington scientist has aboarded to join the journey! => the Corrington Scientist => Some of the cargo (there are some of the finest Felipe de la Manzana's apples in the cargo as well, but they can't be seen in this picture) => Captian Matt Lenoir ---------------------------------------------------------------- Thanks for watching!!! the "Purple rain" is a 8-gun Xebec, which will be licenced as a Class 4 T2. This is my fourth freebuild this month. If you like it, then any approvals are welcome. Elysabeth and Matteus have just arrived in the little hamlet now called Elysabethtown. "Why is this hamlet wearing my name?" -"Honey, consider it a birthday present. And there's something else you have to see." "Waw, what's that?" -"The headqarter of my company. And the best thing is: as long as your new town-hall is not build, you can rule from here." "My new town-hall?" -"Didn't I say that? You will be mayor of this town, when we get a charter. But please come in!" "This is the entree-hall. To the left, you've got a little shrine for the Oleander gods. NOt that we're believers, they just don(t want to trade if they can't pray. Silly people." "To the right, there's a little statue of Maxim I, founder of the MAESTRO trading company." "And under us, you've got the cellar. There we store some goods, always nice to trade. And when these goods are weapons, they're also nice to defend. And of course the famous apple-cider of our Minister of Agricultural Development: Felipe." "And then we go upstairs, where Lord Maximilian is waiting on us. He's trying to find the right person for an exploration mission." "Ha, Elysabeth. Hello and welcome to the presentation of the latest acquisition of MAESTRO! Due to the increasing size of our fleet we felt like it was time to have some more bigger armed vessels to protect our convoys. So I sent my engineers off to develop a frigate that could carry a decent amount of guns for us! In a very short amount of time they managed to put together this ship, which will sail under the command of Captain Ben Zwitsers, who is under the command of Lady Elysabeth of the House of Drondil(Titus V). Lady Elysabeth has also decided to name our first Frigate Dragon's Revenge, more about that later. ________ A few days ago I had given myself the challenge to build a frigate in under 24 hours - and I think I've succeeded in about 19. That's 6 more hours for improvements I might make once I have time to build again:P So, here are the pictures: Sailing' with the wind! Ready to fire a broadside? The stern castle closed gunports and a view at the rigging - I think I did pretty well considering I was limited in time and ran out of string:P As I don't own the Transferata I can only picture the Dragon's Revenge with one of Titus V ships, the Arkady. And together with the other of my ships - well, the smallest amount of them are actually in my hands:P Sorry for terrible editing, I just wanted to have them all in one picture. So, a quick overview over the facts: 11 hours building the ship 4 hours rigging 3 hours sails 1 hour crew 20 guns on the gundeck 6 smaller guns on the upper deck 2 bowchasers Captain Ben Zwitsers Owned by Lady Elysabeth(Titus V) Build by the Monezterrell' Shipyards (might be coming at some point in the future :P) Trade company MAESTRO current crew consists of 25 men, but could easily go into the range of 40 For now we'll license it as a class 5HA, but likely upgrade it at a later point to a higher class once those are public; I expect this to be a class 7(L)A, even if I would have to add a few more guns for that :P Some notes: the masts and rigging are not entirely accurate (2 sections instead of 3, rigging going to the sides of the platforms instead of to the masts; also the curve for the gundeck is a bit to strong. Those are the things that I'll definitely not fix in the remaining 5 hours, but if you have any other suggestions I might make use of those once I have time again.

This is Mine! Jan Zwartbaard has seen a lot of places in his life. With the non-stopping growth of MAESTRO and his good friendship with Lord Maximilian Damaximus, he became an explorer for the mighty trade company. After the "Prince of Stedor" picked him up at Breshaun, he boarded the "Golden Star", starting his adventures. The "Golden Star" went first to "Ile de Romantica", where Jan Zwartbaard was received very very well. The governor of that island even offered him his own medium residence. Zwartbaard graciously accepted the offer as it would become helpfull as his headquarter. Once the construction of the residence started, Zwartbaard went to the new Eslandolan island "Isla Philip" as he heard rumours of silver floaking around. With a few miners and a dozen MAESTRO Elite Soldiers, he started searching for the silver source. Following the stream of the river, they saw a isolated small rock where the water came from. If there was a silver resource somewhere, it should be here! And so the digging started... This is my fifth freebuild this moth. If you're not Eslandolan and consider it worthy, please approve. While his love was out exploring, Lord Matteus Tomvaximus, master of the MAESTRO Trade Company, was very busy with serious things: he had a settlement to establish. And now MAESTRO finally got a charter from the King, blessed is his name, were the traders and adventures streaming in. To protect all this, one needs a mighty fortress. And let building fortresses concidently be the speciality of his wife! Altough she had to leave very quickly, she had still managed to design the first stage of the defenses. That was a small tower at the cities side of the bay. And even though it was small now, Lord Matteus expected it to become the city's maior protection. Of course, every fort needs a name. A name of a female, that is common known. And, as Lord Matteus thought, wich name would be better suited then the name of the architect? Concidentally also the name of his beloved? What he forget for a moment, was that Elysabeth didn't like these things. He should have know, after the 3-day razo she was in when she discovezred he had called a settlement after her. ----------------- Waw, designing a fort on a 16x16 base was a real pain in the megablocks! Here is my entry for Challenge 1 Category A : A juicy meeting So, Felipe de la Manzana and his first officer and trustfull friend Basil passed the Portal they saw in the jungle when they first touch ground in the island that seemed to be Berelli, the one Ivo Fortesque himself found east to Nelissa. They walked some time in the jungle following a little pass made of paved tiles. Felipe was very enthousiastic with that because it was another proof of a human presence here ! Exactly what he was expecting when he found this tribal stuff with a note at sea few days before. This discovery made him sail east and by now he never had be disappointed ! Perhaps those natives could know some interesting legend and why not some with a golden apple that would worth the effort ! Lost in his dreams, Felipe did not payed attention where he went and after passing a bush, Basil hold his arm saying : - Hey ! Felipe ! Be careful ! Here are the famous natives you expected to see ! Erh... I think we bothered them in the middle of some funerals... Ah ! Hold on ! Felipe ! They saw us ! But it was to late ! Felipe walked through and disturbed the ceremony enough to anger the priestess - Hey ! Que faites-vous ici !? She said surprisingly in Oleander ! - Sorry, we are explorers from the west and we try to find some of the native people of the island. Answered Basil, better in Oleander than Felipe. - Ah ! Again ! Some of the man from the west ! You are not the first ! Are you bringing the Thunder-Fire with you ? Basil and Felipe tryed to find what it was and found it was guns. - No ! Not at all ! we are here to find a rare fruit ! a golden fruit ! said Felipe. - Ah ! let me finish these funerals and we will talk. After a while, once the ceremony finished : - Welcome men of the west ! I am the high priestess Zumo de Kapayas. You are very welcome in the tribe of Ténotclaxca ! We are pleased to see you are not carrying your terrible weapons. Are you coming in peace ? We first met some men dressed with blue and with priest. They teach us their language and then they tryed to hunt us from our land ! so they brought their... what are you calling that... ah ! yes ! Guns ! But they where too few, so we killed them or send the survivors at sea. Unfortunately they killed our chief Saginga, the one we burried today ! - We are not like those Oleanders ! We are here to offer you some products to trade and to gather some informations concerning a golden fruit we are trying to find ! - Ah ! Yes ! Of course ! We've got such a fruit ! - REALLY ! shouted Felipe. - Yes it is that fruit. And a native brought a shiny yellow Banana. - Argh... No ! That is not the fruit I am looking for ! This is this one, but a golden one. Said Felipe showing to the Ténotclaxcans an apple. - No, sorry, we don't have that. Answered the young native. But if you want, we have some legends talking about strange magic and some are about mother earth and a fruit. You are welcome to seat with us and listen to those stories but you will need to learn our traditions. - Of course, of course... Answered Felipe. The hope is not lost to have some informations ! Mylord, It appeared you have founded a new settlement you named Port Raleigh along the River Queens in Berelli/Annetta. Our two great Nations are in peace and are even more linked with the help of some trading agreements we signed from both sides. Your position in Berelli is welcome if it is made in peace. The natives of Berelli, the Ténotclaxcans are peaceful people, our Nation is linked to them by the MAESTRO company. Although some Ténotclaxcans attacked Corlanders who were bringing weapons in foraging party, our will, for both Eslandola and the Natives, is to bring you a message of peace. We are asking you to join in a Diplomatic Meeting Lady Zumo de Kapayas and Lord Basil de Eslandola, representant of El Senor Felipe de la Manzana. We are just asking to you, from your side, to do the same : to make that every Corrington citizen will not bring fire weapons in the territories the tribe of the Ténotclaxcans is ruling. Finally, Basil read the text prepared by Felipe : - In order to seal such an agreement, Eslandola Trade Company MAESTRO, by the way of Senor Felipe de la Manzana and the Ténotclaxcans, by the way of Lady Pinya, daughter of Lady Zumo de Kapayas, are offering to Port Raleigh to build a Banana plantation for the Queen who is said pregnant and in great need of this golden fruit. In exchange of what Corrington is agreed to not armed Port Raleigh and to join MAESTRO in a global Privateering force of defense of Berelli/Annetta made of volonteers and made of Native warriors. By this build I am also asking to Ska if : - First : is it OK for you if I build a Banana Plantation for your settlement ? - Secondly :Is it possible to put the Ténotclaxcans officially in the map ? - Third : are you ok to build in partnership with MAESTRO some military/privateer builds ruled by the 2 factions here ? - Finally : is there a way to share between nations the fees of the common builds or the cost of the privateers ?
